The trip was sponsored by the IEDC and coordinated for accessing H1-Bs for trucking industry employment opportunities in Indiana. Jefferson Scott Shreve (born 1965) is a Republican serving as the U.S. Representative for Indiana’s 6th Congressional District since January 2025 (119th Congress). This is his first term in Congress. Before that, he was a businessman and served on the Indianapolis City-County Council in two separate periods (2013–2016 and 2018–2020).
