Some info I've seen about points on @variational_io: 1) Supply is small. Some people are disappointed in their points, but there have only been 3,000,000 points distributed. For reference, the #1 ranked user has 27k points, and I, at rank 34, have 6k 2) "Points can run until the end of Q3" - Team stated yesterday in replies that points can/may end earlier. The end of Q3 is just to have a definitive cap. I tend to believe they will end sooner 3) Position hold time seems to matter. I'd guess there's some sort of time weighted OI contribution 4) Trade smaller pairs. Variational prides themselves on how many pairs they have and how quickly they list obscure coins. Anyone farming funding doing delta neutral between tokenized onchain stocks and HIP-3 assets on Hyperliquid/tradeXYZ? Long leg: tokenized stock (spot) Short leg: perp stock Stock are less volatile and in general more "up only" by nature, so the funding should be more reliable. Main concern is liquidity for now and that it is so "new/untested".
