Reports are circling that 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets sales have absolutely crashed due to all of the geopolitical events and fears around ICE in the US.
Tickets that were expected to sell for thousands apiece are now being sold at $100 each.
@hoosier_2014@firstroundmock@jasrifootball This clown says every year that every number 1 pick is a bust and he gives 4 mid round guys 1st round grades. When he's inevitably correct on 1 every 7 years he parades around like a football god and goes "see! I told you so!" It's honestly embarrassing, but it works for clicks.
@firstroundmock@jasrifootball So is your stance that you know better than active NFL scouts and coaches? I get you need clicks, especially when it was discovered that you weren’t an actual scout, but your schtick is kind of funny now. What happened to Spencer Rattler?
𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚: An anonymous ACC coach who faced QB Fernando Mendoza said Mendoza lacks "NFL traits” he told ESPN.
“He's a good decision-maker, but I don't think he's got the NFL traits. They're all back-shoulder [throws]. That's not working in the NFL. His receivers made plays to make him look better than he is.”
@DawnWM1977@0hour1@lsferguson Trailer trash, hillbillies, ghetto, etc. Basically anyone who has zero skills to exist in public. Likely starts with the destruction of the 2 parent household but education plays a factor. Schools should teach basic life etiquette to graduate. Airport dress codes would also help.
@0hour1@lsferguson What type of travelers are those? Honest question. I can’t ever get 0Hour to reply on my quote posts on here. Can someone tell me who are certain travelers?
@rdogveteran@HowardL3@VibrantRyan0@luckylion23@Breaking911 We demanded affordable air travel and got it via reduced amenities. The only things left to remove are more amenities since they can't make you stand or reduce legroom again. It makes perfect sense to anyone who knows that companies exist solely to provide profit to shareholders.
I see you and that other guy are incapable of seeing where we came from and where we are headed.
Allow me to dumb it down for you both.
You used to get a full meal and a full beverage as part of the cost of a ticket. Then they mostly eliminated the free meal - except for super long flights, and you just got a snack and a can of pop - they'd pour the pop in to a cup and give you the rest of the can. Then you got a cup filled with ice, and the pop was split between you and another passenger. Now they're taking the pop and the snack away, unless you're part of the upper cast system sitting in 1st class, where you still get both.
They shortened the leg room, packing everyone in like cattle. On many flights, I have had to pay extra to sit with my wife. God forbid we want to bring luggage, that's another cost.
You are getting less while paying an ever increasing cost of that ticket. Aside from getting less, you are paying outrageous prices at the terminal - or paying to bring stuff from home - that's if they even let you bring it through the TSA checkpoint.
People who lack the ability to see where things are headed while dismissing the incremental changes as "no big deal" are a big part of the problem. You won't notice anything, or speak up until it is too late.
Delta Plans to End In-Flight Service on Hundreds of Short Flights Starting May 19
Delta Air Lines will end food and beverage service on roughly 450 short-haul flights beginning May 19. The change applies to U.S. routes under 349 miles, meaning passengers in main cabin will no longer receive meals, snacks, or drinks on these flights.
The adjustment is expected to affect about 450 daily departures, including short routes such as Los Angeles to San Francisco. The airline noted that the change does not apply to first-class passengers, who will continue to receive in-flight service.
@KevinCostnner1@Breaking911 That is literally the sole reason for getting on an airplane... We should have something similar to Ryanair here where the sole purpose is cheap air travel. They basically offer to get you to your destination with little to no amenities for a reasonable price.
@Breaking911 Someone needs to start a whole new airline that actually knows customers. One all-inclusive price which includes checked bags, carry-ons, and endless food/drinks. No up charges or nonsense.
@rdogveteran@HowardL3@VibrantRyan0@luckylion23@Breaking911 They're likely trying to eliminate the type of passenger who complains about not getting a fun sized bag of pretzels in search of what they consider to be a more desirable clientele. Just bring a refillable bottle and a Ziploc bag of snacks from home. 🤷
🚨 Delta just said “F you” to regular flyers.
Starting May 19, NO MORE free snacks or drinks on flights under 350 miles. Thirsty and hungry the whole short hop while they nickel-and-dime you.
Meanwhile, CEO Ed Bastian banked $27.1 MILLION last year.
Consumers ALWAYS lose. Airlines get richer. Executives get fatter bonuses.
This SHIT is why people hate corporations.
Where the hell are the antitrust laws? These airlines merged themselves into a near-monopoly, killed all competition, and now they’re openly robbing us while the execs get richer. Charge more, give less, and laugh all the way to the bank.
Greedy bastards.
@BBMagaMom You can literally bring an empty water bottle through TSA and fill it after security. You can also bring solid foods through TSA in your carry on or personal item. There is zero reason for airlines to offer a free soda and a fun sized bag of pretzels.
@SenSchumer You're mad because states can't create segregated voting districts? I always knew you were so mentally gone that nothing could save you, but this is wild.
The Supreme Court just turned its back on one of the most sacred promises in American democracy—the promise that every voice counts.
My statement on the Supreme Court's decision dealing a devastating blow to the Voting Rights Act:
🚨BREAKING: The Vancouver Whitecaps may be moving to Las Vegas:
The Club has put out a statement urging local ownership groups to come forward to try and keep them in Vancouver.
However the Whitecaps say they have no viable offer at this time that would keep the club from moving.
An MLS owners' committee recently discussed relocating the team with Las Vegas being one of the top options.
In Hawaii, gas prices are up over 28%.
That means people in Hawaii are paying AT LEAST $45 MORE a month just on gas alone.
The reason? Trump's illegal war in Iran.
@SenWarren Social security would fund itself if you put everyone's money into an IRA managed by the administration with investment options. We'd all be FAR better off at retirement. You have no interest in actually fixing the issues though. It's better to raise campaign funds on the idea.
Donald Trump’s attacks on Social Security have made it harder for Americans to get their benefits.
We launched our Social Security War Room a year ago to fight back and stop Trump's damage — and that’s exactly what we’ve done.
I'll keep fighting to protect Social Security.
If Kash Patel wants to keep partying, he can do it somewhere else. But first he must resign from the FBI immediately.
He's not a serious person. He does not have the skills for the job. He does not have sound judgment to lead the Bureau.
This is what happens when Trump nominates members of his fan club instead of qualified law enforcement professionals.
@barstoolsports If you think this is going to stop football supporters from walking in masses on the highway and blocking oncoming traffic America’s got another thing coming lol
@SpookyRaider@GetUpESPN@danorlovsky7 He's using his power in the media to hype him up in an attempt to raise his draft stock. Likely a favor to somebody since they're represented by the same agency.
"Ty Simpson, schematically, is a better fit or marriage for what the Las Vegas Raiders would do under Klint Kubiak than Fernando Mendoza."
—@danorlovsky7 on who's a better pick for the Raiders ✍️
@E5Nasty The success rate of 1st round QBs would probably increase tremendously if they all sat a year behind a veteran. I'm all for not throwing a rookie QB to the wolves right away unless they show in camp that they're just that good.
Unless Something bad happens to Kirk I personally prefer Raiders sit Fernando the entire season. Let him play preseason a ton to get those live reps and sit. Continue to build up the roster next offseason and boom it’s his.
What say you Raider Nation? ⬇️
@PGTailgate@AdamSchefter In reality, most QBs taken in the first round would benefit tremendously if they sat behind a veteran for a year. They get thrown into starting because the teams are usually desperate.
@AdamSchefter This really makes no sense. So it’s a 1 years /$20m deal.
So you signed in theory your backup to a $20m deal?
Because you don’t draft a QB #1 overall to sit… you draft a day 2 guy or late 1st to sit… not the #1 overall pick.
Comp update: Kirk Cousins will sign a five-year, $172 million deal with the Raiders that in reality is a one-year, fully-guaranteed $20 million deal that also contains a club option for two years at $80M.
The Falcons will pay Cousins $8.7 million this season, the Raiders another $1.3 million and Las Vegas also agreed to pay its new QB a fully-guaranteed $10 million roster bonus on the third day of the 2027 new league year.
And maybe most notably, it also sets another new mark: this will be the 11th straight NFL season in which Cousins’ contract will be fully guaranteed.
