Delta Plans to End In-Flight Service on Hundreds of Short Flights Starting May 19
Delta Air Lines will end food and beverage service on roughly 450 short-haul flights beginning May 19. The change applies to U.S. routes under 349 miles, meaning passengers in main cabin will no longer receive meals, snacks, or drinks on these flights.
The adjustment is expected to affect about 450 daily departures, including short routes such as Los Angeles to San Francisco. The airline noted that the change does not apply to first-class passengers, who will continue to receive in-flight service.

@HowardL3 @luckylion23 @Breaking911 I fly international multiple times a year if I have a tight connection, I expect to have water on my connecting flight no matter how short it is. Why are we defending the most profitable us airlines actions to hurt customer service?

Consumers ALWAYS lose. Airlines get richer. Executives get fatter bonuses.
This SHIT is why people hate corporations.
Where the hell are the antitrust laws? These airlines merged themselves into a near-monopoly, killed all competition, and now they’re openly robbing us while the execs get richer. Charge more, give less, and laugh all the way to the bank.

🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba... I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down. Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned. The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

Losing Spirit Airlines is a big deal. Low budget airlines are essential to keeping travel affordable, and without them, millions of people will simply be priced out of flying. Competition matters, and when low-cost carriers disappear, everyone pays the price.

1. BuzzBalls
2. Everyone's clickbait of the fights and brawls
3. The yellow school bus planes
4. Flights from the Marine Air Terminal at LGA
5. Putting FLL on the map
6. Most affordable domestic first-class product (Big Front Seat)
Oh, and I forgot to mention how Spirit kept all the other airline prices in check.
If Spirit goes kaput, I'm seriously going to miss it. (And you will too, even if you don't know it yet.)

Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because. .@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact. This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium. Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare. Honestly fuck you @Aetna. I’m gonna do everything I can to destroy you.
