My issue with Neymar discourse is despite him being an all timer talent, he is never held to those standards. It's never his fault he didn't win the Ballon d'or, it's not his fault PSG couldn't win the UCL, it's not his fault Brazil couldn't win as well. No standards just vibes.

Neymar had 5 years at Barcelona. That’s it, five. The rest of the time he’s swanning about on holiday in Paris and Saudi Arabia & you’re trying to tell me that’s more impressive than Rooney who ended his career as both Manchester United and England’s top goalscorer. Incomparable.

Neymar was completely invisible in the 2020 CL final and I dont see him get any criticism for it like other players. Even young mbappe who was better than him got criticised more imo.
