The discussions focused on strengthening Kenya’s quality infrastructure to address export rejections in key markets, particularly those related to pesticide residue compliance in agricultural products. The engagement highlighted the critical role of accreditation in enhancing laboratory capacity, inspection services, and certification systems to support market access. KENAS continues to support internationally recognized accreditation services that facilitate trade, improve product compliance, and strengthen Kenya’s competitiveness in global markets.
