On a flight home to CLE from DC on @AmericanAir and the pilot came on and said “there’s a problem with the landing gear.” We are now heading back to DCA. “It shouldn’t be a safety problem” is all we’ve been told. Then why return to DCA when we were about 20 minutes away from CLE?

After nearly 30 years of loyalty to @AmericanAir, I’m done. Left my headphones and charger in First Class seat 3A. Realized it immediately after deplaning and reported it right away. For 3 weeks I received automated “we are investigating” emails, only to finally be told they “could not find them.” Seriously? In a First Class cabin? The loss is frustrating, but the lack of accountability and customer care after decades of loyalty is what really ended the relationship.

This mother said all she got for Mother’s Day was Happy Mother’s Day texts from her 18 and 20 year old kids. So she said she is going to match their energy and when it comes time she is just going to text them Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday this year and that’s it. She said she’s not complaining and loves them to death but she is ready to meet them where they are at now in their life. She said she is sick of going above and beyond for them and basically getting nothing in return.
