@MarieleRedclaw @japan_nobunaga And it plays “Don’t fear the Reaper” by Blue Oyster Cult as it drives through the neighborhoods. When the fellas hear the cowbell, they come a runnin’ with their dollars!
English

@japan_nobunaga We have vans that drive through neighborhoods playing a jaunty tune over speakers. If you wait by the curb, it pulls over and you can buy guns and ammo from them.

I am GenX and have never seen this movie. I grew up watching the original show every day after school, I couldn't understand why a remake would be worth my time. Is it?

“That’s funny, I’ve never heard of a George Glass at our sküle” is the greatest line delivery of all time.

@redheadranting It’s such a hillarious parody. It’s totally worth a watch!

@audrawrongspeak I nursed my last three exclusively for 3 years. I own my own business and nursed on demand. Formula feeding is so much work. Sooooo much work.
English

It really annoys me when my family pressures me to wean my exclusively breast fed baby to a bottle because, first of all, they’re not the ones having to pump, clean pump parts, clean bottles on top of waking up throughout the night.
Nor have to listen to her scream for hours on end for milk.
Nor do I have $75/week for her allergy formula, so???
Sorry I don’t have $320/month just lying around.
I’ll just take the baby with me when we go places.
Plus my one friend got her baby to take a sippy cup at 7 months so we’re 3 months old at this point.
4 months isn’t long to wait to be able to leave her.
I don’t understand the mindset of wanting to make more work for me just because you want to feed the baby.
You can bond with the baby in other ways (snuggling, talking, reading books, peekaboo, diaper changes, etc.)
Just annoyed. 😒

@HazelAppleyard The money. I love sleeping. I have a sleep number bed. It’s so cozy!

@TheStaad Mast Cell disorder? I have Ehlers Danlos and unfortunately have most of the comorbidities. I take both H1 and H2 Antihistamines first thing in the morning and it helps soooo much. (Claritin and Pepcid).

I’ve been experiencing some frequent and intense vertigo and nausea lately. It began a year ago and is getting worse. I don’t drink or take any drugs or medications
I’d greatly appreciate any prayers for either relief or for the revelation of a purpose and the strength to endure
God’s will be done

@marriedmn Once she hits menopause, it’s over baby. Just learn to live without it. And actually, it’s quite nice not to have that desire anymore. Life is very peaceful.

Thank you so much to my POTUS for honoring me today at the Rose Garden Luncheon at the White House for Mother's Day🥰
I think it's pretty safe to say I'm President Trump's favorite girl from Memphis.
I love me some Dontrell Johnquavious Trump.

My daughter asked me to make my granddaughter’s First Communion banner. It came out so pretty. FYI. I used Grok to remove the last name, but the rest is mine. I have a 7 needle embroidery machine and a fully stocked craft studio!

@UcheMaryOkoli I have very bad ADHD. I have to use the missal. Even if I know everything by heart. I also have a hard time understanding our latest priest. it helps if you have your own missal.

Dilemma. What do I do with these embroidered pillowcases ? They were given to my mom at her wedding. They were embroidered by her grandma, my great great grandma. My mom never used them because /she “couldn’t ever replace them” after her grandma passed. She kept them in the linen closet in the house I grew up in. She gave them to me when I got married and yes, I’ve also kept them unused in my linen closet for 20 years. I don’t want to get rid of them (I won’t). Do I use them or keep them safely store me for future generations to not use, either?

@KGanz5 @VitaCatholica Wow!! That’s absolutely stunning work! I hope you continue creating and putting beautiful outfits into the world. And tysm for telling me about this shop – I’ll have to start ordering from them for my next sewing projects!
