"Leadership is the capacity to see what matters and the capacity to communicate it in an inspiring way to turn complexity and chaos into order." A cup-filling & inspiring leadership conference, and a chance to learn from the education giants. @EARCOSORG #elc2025bkk #leadership

The sweetest and most thoughtful gesture from our students to show appreciation for our school maids and drivers - the caretakers who keep our school clean and our students safe, all while spreading smiles. A little gratitude goes a long way. #Gratitude #Community #Wells

The most enduring marker of success isn't wealth, fame, or power. It’s what we create and contribute to others. In the short run, status symbols capture attention. In the long run, achievement is judged by impact. The highest accomplishment is improving the lives of others.

"Education and health care are two areas where our shared values tell us that, ideally, family resources shouldn’t be a limiting factor in accessing the best possible opportunities. Most of us believe that every mind and life deserves to reach its full potential." @salkhanacademy

All successful people stand on the shoulders of their mentors. That’s the foundation for a new book, “Who Believed in You: How Purposeful Mentorship Changes the World,” by Pennsylvania Sen. @DaveMcCormickPA and Dina Powell McCormick. I’ve been friends with Dina for many years and have seen first-hand how passionate she is about this issue. Fifteen years ago, when Dina was still at Goldman Sachs, we worked together on a mentoring program Dina built called “10,000 Women.” Since it began, over 200,000 women in 150 countries around the world have been mentored and supported. Mentoring has always been essential, but the pandemic closed off many mentoring avenues for young people. “During the COVID lockdowns, we watched as many Americans — including our six teenage daughters — were left feeling devoid of human connection and without the advice and guidance of mentors,” the authors write. Dina shares her own experience of how mentors helped shape her life and career, all the way back from immigrating to America from Egypt. And Dave recounts how his mentors supported his journey from West Point to the US Senate. The book is a roadmap for how to create and seek out these critical relationships and it features interviews with leaders across industries, including Microsoft CEO @satyanadella, fashion entrepreneur @toryburch, Maryland @GovWesMoore, and film producer @BrianGrazer. Dave and Dina show how what they call transformative mentorship could transform the country. “Imagine if every one of us had a genuine impact on somebody’s life in a transformational way and helped them find their purpose,” they write. “Is there a greater gift any of us could give?” You can pre-order it here: bit.ly/3F34nHD

Stop asking, What’s your passion? It’s the wrong question. Passion is a hot emotion—intense, fleeting, and often unsustainable. Instead, ask, What do you do? How do you spend your time? The answer reveals something deeper: a sense of meaning, intrinsic interest, flow, and contribution. These calmer, enduring emotions are what truly sustain us. Want to find your path? Start by observing how you naturally spend your time and what consistently engages you.
