@Trynith_Nebula @HoCpetitions Yeah it will absolutely get worse. The engineer that spoke essentially outline a nanny state where they have access to everything and will limit what can be viewed. They already mentioned misinformation so imagine they'll only allow you to see gov approved content

@KIDBASSMUSIC @HoCpetitions they are 100% going to tighten the noose on this act, VPNs are the next target. AI is an issue and needs its own, specific regulation, its causing issues far bigger than discussed here.

@Trynith_Nebula @HoCpetitions OFCOM is currently trying to sue 4chan, as they refused to pay the fine. It's crazy that they think they can regulate a US company

@KIDBASSMUSIC @HoCpetitions id love to know what gives OFCOM the right to be the international police for these sites. i'm in no way defending X or whatever, but if a US site hosts porn or whatever, for US users, what gives ofcom the right to impose law or fines on them?

They're asking for over regulation. We're supposed to edit every and all content so it hurts nobody's feelings

@Trynith_Nebula @HoCpetitions Exactly why is there no one arguing a counterpoint here. There are so many parts to this law that it can arbitrarily enforced. All it's doing is making it impossible for small businesses to grow and risking adult privacy and opening us up to fraud from putting our data everywhere

If it's found in favour of Dubois the least he deserves is a rematch. He'll probably lose, but boxing is a joke if we don't give boxers a fair shot just cause we don't believe they'll win

Usyk has high trunks (Shouldn’t be allowed). And in addition to that, punch lands on the belt line. Fair punch. And Dubois was robbed…

@CaptainMaakasu @Tomlongbottom_ @BoxingKingdom14 I've never seen a rule that states part of the glove. When I was boxing things were judged on the center line of your hand. So your middle knuckle. But I can't find anything that really clears that up

This was always the problem the assumption that Usyk would wipe the floor with him created unfair officiating

It should be the same regardless of where the trunks are. A punch on or above is legal. It's not up to the ref, it's a clear definition

I'm not a Dubois fan. I just know that the fight wasn't carried out in a just/fair way and kinda robbed a younger boxer of changing history.

I think people get excited over stuff like that, but I have seen fighters take worse and continue. He simply agreed with the ref’s call to make recovery easier. It happens. 😄

In this case Dubois got his one punch. I'll give it to Usyk he was in trouble and used the rules to his advantage to ultimately come out with the win

@KIDBASSMUSIC @Tomlongbottom_ @BoxingKingdom14 The other thing to keep in mind is that Dubois seems to be disregarding the rest of the fight, saying he got robbed of victory. He landed that shot in the 5th round. He STILL had 7 rounds to end Usyk if he is the better fighter. He is not. The rest of the fight proved that.

Usyk took time to recover because he was allowed to. If the ref started counting, he would have been back up and fighting quicker.
