My mum texts me when I stand up to speak in Parliament. She tells me to fix my tie or sort my hair out. But when I talk about growing up in poverty, she texts to say sorry. She carries the shame when, in truth, the blame belongs to the politics of the time.

Football is made by fans, they should be prioritised. There seems to be a total lack of consideration for #SAFC fans in scheduling a 1230 KO in Bournemouth. I’ve written to @premierleague to express my frustration. I will also raise the overall policy issue here with @DCMS.
