When it comes to rejecting the so-called Infrastructure Fund and opposing any backdoor attempts to dispose of strategic national assets, we must show clarity and courage. We must be clear as a country: institutions like Safaricom and Kenya Pipeline Company are not political bargaining chips. They are strategic assets built by the sweat of Kenyan taxpayers. Any attempt to sell them under the guise of reforms or infrastructure financing must be met with serious scrutiny and national debate. Leadership is about protecting the future, not mortgaging it. If this is the direction we are taking standing firm against economic conmanship and defending public wealth then many will see in us the makings of serious national leadership. This is the energy Kenyans want.
