@NoShirleyNo She must have significant health issues to be offered jabs on the NHS, the criteria are so restrictive. I’ve been paying privately, best decision I’ve ever made, 77lb down so far and I’m so much healthier and mobile, after a lifetime of failed diets and just getting bigger.

My friend went to the doctor about getting help with her weight. Was immediately - immediately - offered jabs. No discussion, no advice, no questions, no alternatives.

This is the “stage 1” letter sent to a 17 year old in the first year of college. No matter what your views, this is sinister as hell and we should all be concerned for our children. They are growing up in an environment where their speech is heavily policed. My son’s current project focusses, rather ironically, on 1984. He’s writing a short film based on a compliant side character living in the world Orwell created. We listened to the audible play/reading recently and he was struck at modern day parallels. Note the mention of how his “abhorrent ideological” speech affects staff, the use of words like diatribe and preaching. We cannot allow this authoritarian shit to continue. RE: Positive Behaviour Management Policy – First Written Warning Dear xxxx, The purpose of this letter is to confirm you had a meeting on 19 March at 12:00 with xxxx xxxx to discuss your recent behaviour on 17 March which broke the following rules of the Positive Behaviour Management Policy. Respectful - Students are expected to respect people, value diversity and are committed to equality ensuring a positive and professional learning environment in which all people are treated with respect and dignity. It is the responsibility of everyone to behave in a safe manner and not put themselves or others at risk. Collaborative - It is the responsibility of students to engage with WCUC staff and other students to develop positive relationships and work together to promote an active group learning environment. This requires them to be on time, in the right place, correctly equipped and ready to learn in all classes. You’ve received this letter because of the following behaviour: • You were caught talking at xxxx, xxxx and xxxx about your ideological views - you were midway through a diatribe on why being part of the LGBTQIA+ community should be considered a mental illness/condition I have since had a meeting with you, making it absolutely clear that making comments like that is deeply offensive and ideologically abhorrent and in no way appropriate to be preaching within the walls of the college. We talked about what effect saying such things may have on your peers, and staff. You were receptive to the feedback and promised that you would not talk this way in college again. I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that this written warning will remain active on your student record for the duration of 3 months after which they can become spent but will remain on your student record. Yours Sincerely, Mr Course teacher

My son just got a written warning from college for a private conversation discussing trans shit with friends. I reckon I’m about to go scorched earth on these twats.

@NABurkinshaw Stopped my sleep problems and helped reduce the sudden onset of joint pains, I’ve always been anti hormones, the pill didn’t suit me, but I’m pleased I tried it. I’m unsure if I have to take it forever, which I don’t want, but for now, I’m happy with it.

With apologies to the gentlemen in my timeline, but... Ladies of a Certain Age: HRT? Pros and cons. I don't want to, but it's getting to the point where SOMETHING needs to be done... (NB: I know there are many who are evangelical about it but I am hesitant to become dependent on any sort of drug/medicine if I can help it).

@LostDazes @RightToLifeUK @StephanieFraser We’re both ex nurses so fully aware. She was told almost immediately she was DNR as her quality of life and life expectancy was low. Not that it would likely fail. Not to be disregarded as she’s too disabled to be worth trying.

@KJS1999 @RightToLifeUK @StephanieFraser I think you misunderstand what a DNACPR is - it is not witholding active treatment. It is if you are so unwell that your heart stops, the use of CPR (pressing on chest) & (if a shockable rhythm which is minority) shock won't give much time back & likely cause more prolonged dying

Baroness @StephanieFraser recalls how, when her father was in hospital, 5 different medics asked him to sign a do-not-resuscitate order. He did not want one, and certainly did not want to be asked repeatedly! Surely the same thing could happen with assisted suicide?

Professor Raewyn Connell is an example of late-onset-male-projection-of-female-sex-stereotypes (LOMPOFST). He should be the last person to be invited to talk about misogyny, unless his presence on @BBCWomansHour was to illustrate the pervasive nature of the Manosphere.

To nobodies surprise, Watson is asking for the “decommission” aka killing of prominent gender critical people. Meaning the people who have had the courage to take a stand against their bullying and abusive ways. Textbook male abuser mentality, they’re losing control, so we must now be eliminated. The Police must deal with this.

Hi @BBCWomensHour Today’s piece on misogyny was a classic example of misogyny. You interviewed a cross dressing man on a topic about which he is not qualified to speak. Why didn’t any woman involved with WH call it out for what it really was? You’re cowardice shames you all

💥We’ve been granted permission to take a judicial review on Hampstead Ponds! We were initially turned down for judicial review after the City Corporation tried to get away without having to defend the lawfulness of its policy. Now the Court of Appeal has overturned that judgment, recognising that “expert charities” such as Sex Matters have standing to bring claims for judicial review and called the City of London’s arguments in defence of its “trans inclusive” policy “brief and unpersuasive”. We have increased our target to enable the next stage in this case. Thank you to everyone who donated to get us this far. Donate now: sex-matters.org/take-action/cr…

@Jc62Matildamog @VPointon @hatetorycuts A friend was evicted as her rental house was sold, she couldn’t afford to rent another house so ended up in local housing for over 55s, rents a small flatlet, and it is still more than her state pension. She’s 72, can’t work due to health, 75 is insane for retirement age.

@VPointon @hatetorycuts I’ve been asking for years, what’s going to happen to renters when they want to retire. The govt can’t afford to subsidise rental costs to private landlords, people are going to have to move into some sort of shared accommodation. Raising the pension age is utterly predictable.

@AnnCampbel57325 @VPointon I have this too at 58. I don’t work but if I did I’d be on long term benefits, I doubt I’ll see any pension if they keep moving the goalposts, mum died at 65, her mum 66, dad’s mum 54 and dad 72 (cardiac arrest at 54).

@VPointon 71. Retired 2025 at 70 after 50 years teaching. Was fit and healthy. Gym,swimming, walking. Just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis and ckd. Out of nowhere. I just had a sore back. Now forced to adjust to a quieter, less active life. Not coping well. You never know what's ahead.

@VPointon People advocating this are so protected in their little offices. People who do physical jobs are worn out by 60, they’ll just move onto sickness benefits. My parents were both dead by 72, I’m not hopeful of ever seeing a pension.
