They still hit me with a mandatory 10% “service fee” “to help pay fair wages for our team.” Newsflash to every restaurant pulling this: I am not obligated to pay your employees’ wages. You set the menu prices. You run the business. You pay your staff. Stop disguising a tip as a mandatory fee on pickup orders and pretending it’s my responsibility to subsidize your labor costs.
