3 HPD officers have been shot in the 2100 block of McGowen St. The suspect fled the scene in a white Mercedes and is being sought at this time. Please avoid the area. HPD commanders & PIO are en route to Memorial Hermann Hospital where officers are being taken. #hounews

Had a great time w/ our Arlington Clergy And Police Partnership (ACAPP) group tonight at their holiday party! Our faith leaders are invaluable. They offer support to our officers. They provide important insight into the issues their communities are facing. We appreciate them!

Congrats Deputy Chief Christopher Cook for being sworn in as the President of the National Information Officers Association today representing the largest group of government and public safety communicators in the world. He will represent @CityOfArlington and @ArlingtonPD well!

Thankful we were able to help find the bad guy who shot a Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy. With the help of Texas AG’s Office, @USMarshalsHQ North Texas Fugitive Task Force & other law enforcement, we found him in a local motel. He tried to run on foot but didn’t get far! Arrested!
