The devil loves to rub my past sins in my face, reminding me of how dirty and low I've been and when bad things happen I am told that I deserve them for all of the dastardly, detestable acts I've committed, but if this were true, babies would never die and children would not be abducted and the elderly would not be abused in their sleep, women would not be burned at stakes or scarred by the acid of evil tongues claiming they are justified in the name of "god." Innocent people would never meet their demise in wars created for earthly political gain. No devil, I am not being punished for my past, I have been washed by the blood of the Lamb. I have repented and will never stop thanking God for the gift that He gave. The serpent wants us to believe we serve a vindictive God who keeps score of our mistakes because he was made to slither on his belly to eternally writhe in that fiery lake. He kissed God's divine presence and chose to turn the other way. He cannot stand that forgiveness cannot be his, but is ours and that our Creator has deemed us worthy through His Amazing Grace. So when he tells you that you get what you deserve, remind him of his projection and narcissistic ways. You are God's and you have been eternally and victoriously saved. 🔥
