There is nothing you have done in your past that God can’t forgive. Who you were before God is not who you are after God. Change takes time as the Holy Spirit fills your life and sincere repentance is necessary for change, but God will create you spiritually new. He has never given up on you, His love for you endures forever. Thank you God for never giving up on me.

I just read this quote and the intricacies and nuance of it really hit me: "A big part of who I am, is who I am Not anymore." The irony is, that I needed to be who I was, in order to become who I am. God used every part of that person I don't recognize from my past, to make new the person I am today. Far from perfect, but cleansed in God's Grace. Almost every character of the Bible (except for Jesus of course) had to be transformed from their past, sinful selves. We were never meant to do this alone. We need to allow God, our Creator to take the dirtiest parts and wash them clean. Repentance and Forgiveness is God's specialty and there is nothing more He wants than to make you whole. To bring you back to the Love that birthed your Being.

@KObregonWriter @peachtard Thankfully, Mum wasn't too bad before the dementia. Clothes and linen were her mania. Older generations don't realise how difficult it is to get rid of stuff. I'm 70. Eck.

@KObregonWriter Whenever I sin in some little way I always repent immediately. I sometimes have to do this several times. But when I pray about a 'big' sin I only usually pray the once, and then speak to God about it quietly.

I screw up every single day. I pray when I'm mad, I pray when I'm sad, I pray when I'm confused, I pray when I'm not feeling it, I just keep praying. Especially when I feel I'm in the wrong or messing up, but I pray. I have to. God knows me. He knows it all anyway!! Pray until you can pray no more and then pray again 😂

@KObregonWriter @peachtard My mother would throw a fit, get depressed & take 2 her bed when I’d declutter. I waited until she was gone before I pulled out all the stops. People would come in her house afterwards & couldn’t believe the difference. The house even smelled different. The airflow was better.

@KObregonWriter @peachtard Similar here. I cared for my mum with dementia. She had so many clothes. During covid I said it's time to only wear what is beautiful. So I started with the clothes for gardening or for cleaning or anything too ugly or old. Didn't get them out of the garage quick enough, though.

I may have mistaken but it definitely looks like he’s done this before. He even came prepared to reseal the box and even act like nothing happened. Makes we wonder how many times he’s done this before and whether he’s been caught yet, I definitely wouldn’t order from a place that does this.
