Update: 10 people facing federal drug & gun charges after Tuesday's large-scale law enforcement operation in east Houston. The group allegedly trafficked fentanyl, crystal meth, cocaine & counterfeit pharmaceutical drugs as well as firearms in the Clinton Park neighborhood.

UPDATE: Law enforcement sources confirm there have been multiple arrests on gun- & drug- related charges during an operation in east Houston being led by FBI Houston's Violent Crime Task Force. Sky 2 shows investigators taking evidence from one of several locations searched. @KPRC2

BREAKING: A major law enforcement operation led by the FBI is currently underway at multiple addresses in the east Houston neighborhood of Clinton Park. Several agencies are assisting including FBI San Antonio SWAT, Houston Police & HPD SWAT, the U.S. Marshals Service, Texas DPS, ATF agents, and the Houston Fire Department.

Investigators are currently searching 4 locations and are expected to be there "for the next several hours." Per @FBIHouston, there's no threat to public safety.

Houston health inspectors listed at least 6 violations that led to the temporary closure of Mama Tina's Gumbo at the Houston Rodeo, according to records obtained by @KPRC2, but thawed shrimp and crab marked "keep frozen" really stood out.

JUST IN: Health inspectors found thawed seafood & food being stored in non-food grade orange buckets, according to records obtained by @kprc2, when a woman reported getting sick after eating Mama Tina's Gumbo. The customer said she had chills and was throwing up blood before health inspectors found multiple violations, which led to the temporary closure of the Houston Rodeo gumbo shop.

In statement to @KPRC2, Rodeo officials call it "clerical issues" that had to be addressed for Mama Tina's to reopen. We are awaiting more info from @HoustonHealth.

JUST IN: An ICE detainee escaped a Houston detention facility over the weekend. According to ICE, around 11 a.m. Sunday, Ladislav Petro, a 51-year-old from Slovakia, somehow got out of the Houston Contract Detention Facility (HCDF). He has several criminal arrests and an Interpol Red Notice for production and distribution of child pornography. A multi-agency search followed, and Petro was taken back into custody just over 24 hours later not far from the same facility, a spokesperson tells @KPRC2. He has now been transferred to the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe.

TRUCK DRIVER CITED: After this morning's crash with an Amtrak carrying 93 passengers, Missouri City PD confirms to @KPRC2 the truck driver has been cited for stopping on the railroad tracks. Investigators say the driver was waiting to turn on to the highway but the trailer was too long and didn't clear the tracks, so when the Amtrak approached, the truck didn't have time to get out of the way. There are several signs in the area showing there's only 42 feet between the stop sign and rail tracks. The crossing arm was working and activated.

TRAIN VS. SEMI: Sky 2 is over the scene of a big crash at US 90 & Cravens Rd involving an Amtrak passenger train and 18-wheeler. Aerial images show damage to both. METRO busses are assisting approx 120 passengers get to the Houston Amtrak station. Missouri City PD is also on scene. We've reached out to Amtrak and the NTSB for more info.
