#edlt5310 @desertjul My AHA moment for this week was that how external microphone makes a huge difference in the audio quality compared to the one that is built in the computer. Include myself, this would help many ESL students when it comes to the virtual/hybrid classes :)

#AHA moment for #EDLT5310 How can we ensure our students have 21st Century Skills (now being referred to as a Vision of a Global Citizen)? What are the most important skills they should have in this technology based world? @desertjul

Shoutout to @KarleeCarlson3 for explaining how effective scenario sharing can be to an audience of learners. Also to @fgomart8 and @zorenahazen for watching a webinar that demonstrates the importance of self-care for teachers which is so important! #EDLT5310

An exciting week in #EDLT5310 I learned that (T) VR creates amazing "hands-on" learning experiences, (C) Webinars are an accessible option for teacher PD and (P) VR can mimic real life experiences like in-person discussions. Ready to learn more about Meta university's! @desertjul

Shout out to my colleagues @cwelles, @eddieestrada, and @rachegabe. Their lessons were amazing. I learned how to use Pinterest in a lesson, info graphics and audio recording. All of these strategies are something that I want to use in my classroom. #EDLT561 @desertjul

#EDLT561 has given me so much inspiration to incorporate social media in my teaching. Using the Online Equity Rubric has really made me think about how to create lessons more effectively. Thank you for all your guidance @desertjul

@MsCoughlinRM @desertjul I had no idea these existed, but I am glad that we were able to learn about it and hopefully reimagine what teaching looks like.

This week in #EDLT561 I learned about Twitch and Discord. I realized the potential in both of these platforms. They are more than just games and streaming platforms! What better way to make learning fun than to turn it into a game?! @desertjul youtube.com/embed/tfRLMCxv…
