For my last Shoutout Tweet, I want to thank @DeannaS31681630 and @debb_marie for highlighting some wonderful resources that teachers can use in their classrooms immediately. Also, thank you to @desertjul for guiding and supporting this amazing #EDLT561 team this semester!

For my final #EDLT561 reflection, social media should be used in the classroom b/c it creates a sense of classroom community, encourages thoughtful discourse, and offers the opportunity to teach students digital citizenship! @desertjul

@TaiyoBrett @Twitch @discord @desertjul Reaching students outside of class for reminders is something I would have loved to have as a K-12 student. I can't help but think of how our students reap so many great benefits as technology advances.

This week in our We Mean Media group, we decided that a great way to use @shapchat in the classroom would be to create and share interactive vocabulary cards, simply snap a picture and use the Snapchat tools to mark it up. #EDLT561 @desertjul

@AaronLaut @desertjul Teaching and modeling digital citizenship are so important for our students. With all of the resources that are now available, there is no excuse for our students' safety to be at risk. It's time to take action! #EDLT @desertjul

I loved creating my infographic on digital citizenship. I think digital citizenship should be taught in every school because the digital world is becoming more applicable for young people than ever before. It is up to teachers to show digital responsibility. @desertjul #EDLT561

@MsCoughlinRM I had never heard of TPACK before this week! I loved reading that the teacher's expertise in content drives the vision and approach that students need to reach the learning goal. Then, the teacher chooses the most appropriate technology to reach that goal. 🤯 #EDLT @desertjul

This week in #EDLT561 has reaffirmed the importance of Digital Citizenship education for students of all ages, including balance and safety. TPACK is where teachers can find the building blocks necessary as they support students in developing these skills.
