@jundevahn @CEssegian How exactly were you “Bible bashed”? He talked about his own beliefs not yours. He never compared himself to you or anyone. He didn’t force anything on you or really say anything about you. And you consider that “bashing”? Why so sensitive? Why so defensive?

If there is anything I want people to know about me, it’s that I am a follower of Christ. I will forever be grateful for the death and resurrection of Jesus wiping my sin clean. I have done things in my life I wish I never had. But Jesus has allowed me to use my past to show his goodness. I will continue to show HIS light no matter what it costs me here on earth. Basketball, money, and fame all comes to an end. But eternity is forever!

I have just spoken with the Emir of Qatar and President Trump following the strikes that hit gas production facilities in Iran and Qatar today. It is in our common interest to implement, without delay, a moratorium on strikes targeting civilian infrastructure, particularly energy and water supply facilities. Civilian populations and their essential needs, as well as the security of energy supplies, must be protected from military escalation.

@VictoriaZeev @Polymarket How do you feel about Nancy Pelosi’s career? It’s not new that parties force members to toe the line or you lose subcommittee appointments, re-election funds, endorsements, whatever. This is politics and has gone on in this country with all parties for 250 years.

My cousin Dietrich is one of the best paid engineers in Germany He makes €41,000 a year before tax Last week he got an offer from a big tech company in the US that would net him $350,000 "Are you going to take it?" I asked him "It's a good offer, but I would actually earn less than now" He is right. In Europe, he makes €41,000 and gets: - Free healthcare - Strong privacy protections - Diversity - Pension benefits If you count this in, it's much more than $350,000 European salaries are the highest in the world if you adjust for quality of life

@mattvanswol Regarding DOGE….its because they are in on the grift. They actually love the waste, fraud and abuse and hate that it was exposed. They make tough speeches about ending it or reining it in, but take no action. They are complete hypocrites and, in this area, worse than Democrats.

Or you can simply sign a personal attestation that you are a citizen and the burden is then placed on the state to affirm it which should be no problem given their access to all the databases necessary to do so. It’s not hard…just a signature - no documents, no fuss. Maybe read the bill.

Dear Chuck Schumer, Hi. Black dude here. I can trace my family ancestry to slavery. I even know where they were slaves. My mom experienced Jim Crow. I think I’ve watched every episode of “Eyes On the Prize” when I was younger. With that said… Can you directly explain to me how the SAVE Act is “Jim Crow 2.0?” Literally every black person I know has ID. Literally every black person I know has a car or at least a ride. Literally every black person I know knows how to vote (well… except the ones with felonies… but they don’t count). With your advanced white liberal thinking, you must know more than me. Apparently, as I experience daily on this app, white liberals are experts on being black; even more so than actual black folks. Perhaps you could explain it like I’m five. I’d look it up on the internet, but Kathy Hochul has already told me I don’t know what a computer is and Joe Biden said I can’t navigate it, anyway. Looking forward to your answer. No hugs. Zeek

You do realize that the SAVE act also allows for personal attestation by voters which allows them to vote without any of the documents and then places the burden on the state to affirm the attestation. Since states have access to databases containing birth certificates, marriage licenses, name changes, etc as well as reciprocity agreements with other states that the should have no issues tracking down the information on behalf of the voter. No cost, no difficulty. Just have to sign a form. Does that sound like Jim Crow? What’s your next argument?

Voting rules largely unchanged since 1965 VRA, which ended Jim Crow suppression of Black votes. Before that, Black votes unprotected. Noncitizen voting? Extremely rare—dozens of cases over decades nationwide, not millions. Risk of deportation & jail for one vote is irrational. Poor people (disproportionately Black due to historic racism & job exclusion) lack easy access to birth certs/passports at higher rates. Pew & Brennan Center data: Black & POC less likely to have quick proof-of-citizenship docs (~11% vs ~8% for whites; millions overall lack them). SAVE Act’s strict doc requirements would disproportionately block poorer/minority/non-Trump voters. Not election security—adds barriers where fraud isn’t the problem. Gas to polls affects everyone; mandating hard-to-get docs some groups disproportionately lack = modern poll-tax equivalent. Noncitizen voting fear is wildly overblown.

Well, then you should have no issue with the SAVE act. Also, over 10 million were allowed to flow over the border during the last administration and several states are issuing them IDs and taking other actions that loosen control over voting. This could be why 86% of the country support it. Why would we NOT want to ensure the integrity of our elections?

I dare anyone to fact check this: Studies, including Brennan Center analyses and Brookings Institution reviews of over 100 million votes, find voter fraud overall occurs in fewer than 0.0001% of cases, with non-citizen voting even rarer and unsupported by evidence of widespread impact on election outcomes. Please share.

How difficult do you think it is to show a birth certificate and a marriage license? Do you think this is too difficult for a woman to navigate? By the way, 86% of the country support the SAVE Act. I suspect support is that high because dementia Joe let 10+ million to illegally enter the country which elevates the need for safeguards.

Your post said that the Save act is like Jim Crow followed by a reference to a Pew poll. That is what you would call an argument. You suggest it’s like a poll tax which is ridiculous. If people have to drive and pay for the gas to get to a polling location, it’s that a tax? And even if it were, wouldn’t both white and black have to spend the same amount? Also, you use a poll by Pew saying black people don’t have a passport or birth certificate at the same proportion as white people. How difficult do you think it is to get a birth certificate? Do you think it is more difficult for a black person vs a white person? Why?

Is it that the 13% don’t have an ID because they can’t figure out how to get one or they just don’t have one. Studies show that over 30% of 18-29 year olds do not have a proper ID but only 11% of those 30 and older lack a proper ID. Does that mean young people face hurdles the can’t overcome. Or maybe they are discriminated against. Your arguments are silly.

The Brennan Center for Justice shows that 13% of Black voting-age citizens lack a current government photo ID, compared to 8% of whites. Is it racist to state a fact? It’s Jim Crow because it’s a poll tax that will disproportionately affect Americans. The SAVE Act requires a passport or birth certificate in person to register. 2/3 of Black Americans don’t have a passport. You’re defending a "show your papers" law that creates a $165+ tax (passport cost) just to exercise a constitutional right

Democrats have literally said that requiring an ID to vote is racist for decades, even as black voter participation has grown in states that require ID. Whatever bureaucratic hurdles you are referring to, the implication is that white people can overcome them but black people can’t - that is actually racist, not voter ID or the SAVE act.

Nobody said Black people are incapable of getting ID. The issue is that adding more bureaucratic hurdles to voting always hits poorer and marginalized communities harder. That’s not a theory — it’s been documented for decades in court cases reviewing voting restrictions. Millions of Americans don’t have passports. Millions don’t have easy access to their birth certificates. Replacing them costs money, time, and navigating government offices. Voting is supposed to be easy for citizens, not a paperwork scavenger hunt. So the real question isn’t “can Black people get ID?” It’s why we’re adding barriers to a right that already has almost no evidence of widespread fraud.

Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war.  Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth
This week, Anthropic delivered a master class in arrogance and betrayal as well as a textbook case of how not to do business with the United States Government or the Pentagon. Our position has never wavered and will never waver: the Department of War must have full, unrestricted access to Anthropic’s models for every LAWFUL purpose in defense of the Republic. Instead, @AnthropicAI and its CEO @DarioAmodei, have chosen duplicity. Cloaked in the sanctimonious rhetoric of “effective altruism,” they have attempted to strong-arm the United States military into submission - a cowardly act of corporate virtue-signaling that places Silicon Valley ideology above American lives. The Terms of Service of Anthropic’s defective altruism will never outweigh the safety, the readiness, or the lives of American troops on the battlefield. Their true objective is unmistakable: to seize veto power over the operational decisions of the United States military. That is unacceptable. As President Trump stated on Truth Social, the Commander-in-Chief and the American people alone will determine the destiny of our armed forces, not unelected tech executives. Anthropic’s stance is fundamentally incompatible with American principles. Their relationship with the United States Armed Forces and the Federal Government has therefore been permanently altered. In conjunction with the President's directive for the Federal Government to cease all use of Anthropic's technology, I am directing the Department of War to designate Anthropic a Supply-Chain Risk to National Security. Effective immediately, no contractor, supplier, or partner that does business with the United States military may conduct any commercial activity with Anthropic. Anthropic will continue to provide the Department of War its services for a period of no more than six months to allow for a seamless transition to a better and more patriotic service. America’s warfighters will never be held hostage by the ideological whims of Big Tech. This decision is final.
