Let me provide some clarification.
Stock value is determined by the products and services a company provides. All companies, regardless of industry, can only serve their customer base. Therefore, the market values a company and its stock based on its ability to generate revenue and its market value relative to a variety of factories at specific prices.
While I could elaborate on this further, the semantics are unnecessary.
The most important point is that the market capitalization of XRP, the token, is irrelevant.
Why?
Because the value is not the token itself. While the token supplements the ability to add value to the parameters and structure, the value is the XRPL, the ledger itself.
When we speak of the ledger, the possibilities are endless, as described by the Metcalfe Law.
If you seek a direct answer, it is simple:
Possibility? Planet Earth.
Any asset on Earth can be tokenized, settled, and processed 24/7, 365 days a year.
How large can it be?
That depends on:
1. The number of people within the network.
2. Whether planet Earth will continue to grow.
The rest is beyond our current understanding.
The only question to ask is:
- When, who, and how much?
Beyond that, the only thing people need to worry about is time.
Time is your enemy. If you persevere, you will succeed.
I hope this helps those who doubt. If you are one of them, everything you doubted in 2018 has likely come true.
Why are you afraid? You should be celebrating.
Anyone who says otherwise cannot accept the fact that they were wrong.
It is okay. In the end, this is not a competition. We are all here for the same reasons and want to cross the finish line happy.
But ignoring reality for ego is unnecessary.
Truth always wins, and time always reveals the truth.
