I used to go to Dubai every other weekend if not every weekend back in 2021.
I stopped going to Dubai since when I saw damn Israelis next to me at the pool.
Emirates citizens I love you but I cant stand Israelis and I know how y’all feel about them too and how rude and ugly they are but we all can’t do/say anything.

A friend of mine travelled to the West recently and went to pray at a mosque there. He told me the khutbah started normal, then slowly became political and started talking about jihad. He literally said: “I can see how people here get radicalized hearing this stuff.” He got up and left halfway through. This is exactly why the UAE and other GCC countries regulate mosques through Ministries of Awqaf. It’s not about “controlling religion” it’s about stopping religious spaces from turning into political recruitment centers. The Muslim Brotherhood mastered this years ago: mix religion with politics, build grievance narratives, then slowly create ideological loyalty. I don’t agree with what you said here. If you replaced “Israelis” with literally any other nationality, people would instantly call it racist.
Do you agree with the current US president and every American foreign policy decision? Probably not. But would you sit there and say you can’t stand Americans as people?
You can disagree with governments and politics all you want. That’s normal. But generalizing entire groups of people while living in a country like the UAE, where people from everywhere live together under the same law, is a different story.

When I was moving to Dubai someone told me that the best part of the city was that you could be any nationality, religion or ethnicity and still be a part of the fabric of the city. One of the only few cities where you still find Indian-Pak couples, Ukraine-Russian colleagues esp in digital asset companies and nationals of conflict ridden cities co-existing.
You are free to stop visiting but I think imposing your morals on other countries is not right.
