Emirates citizens I love you but I cant stand Israelis and I know how y’all feel about them too and how rude and ugly they are but we all can’t do/say anything.

You’re not alone. I have friends who lived in the UAE for over four decades. Just a few months after Israelis started arriving in large numbers, the majority of them packed their belongings and left, and never looked back. It tells u so much about that place..

Of course, the UAE itself is a brutal dictatorship (a fact that slipped Karim's mind). The difference is: the UAE is a small, oil-rich, Western-backed dictatorship with a lot of economic opportunity, while Iran has been under devastating U.S. sanctions for decades.

Hitting the UAE first makes sense because 1) It's the most hawkish and 2). It has IDF forces now and 3). It's the hub for Gulf shipping. Hard to tell right now if this is a sustained campaign or a round of strikes.
