@KrisPLettuce I like Bruno but he doesn't click with me 100% and I'm not sure why. As far as wrestlers from the era go, I'd rather watch Baba, Inoki, or Santo movies. My favorite Americans of the era are probably the Funks & The Destroyer.

The more old Bruno matches I watch, the more ridiculous I find the old narrative that he was just a "punch kick" wrestler having inferior matches to the much greater NWA World Champions. I'd take a Bruno Sammartino match over a Harley Race match 10 times out of 10.
