🚔👮🚨 + a community member stepping up + drone technology = one suspect in custody. A caller reported a masked subject with 🔩cutters near a storage facility on Dixie Hwy. 👮launched a drone & found him nearly a mile away. He tried to flee but was quickly caught. #LMPD #Drones

Officer Richardson is so tired he accidentally did a welfare check on a statue in downtown. Go home, sir.

One of our GoPros was assaulted by an officer with a shovel. Everything’s 10-86. (Side note, listen to the motorist absolutely mash the gas pedal as he gets unstuck. Sir, you shouldn’t be out here and you know it)

Grand Rapids, MI DV suspect opens fire on police. Ends badly for him.

Sheriff Grady Judd arrested 8 PA kids for stealing 47 items worth over $2,200 from Dick’s Sporting Goods, potentially costing their team a championship. Coach begging deputies and management to drop charges and when unsuccessful, coach said don’t you guys have something better to do than arrest these kids. Judd refused: " I don’t know if they were starters or not, but we are finisher, we arrested them… In Polk County, we lock up thieves, no warnings… Coach, you're the loser; hold kids accountable like we do here, where crimes are at a 53-year low”

More bad news for law enforcement… 2 more officers were shot yesterday…one a Bexar County (TX) deputy and the other a Michigan State Trooper (Sgt). Thankfully both are expected to make a full recovery. That is 10 officers shot in the last 7 days… This depravity is a stain on our society, and its why @GLFOP Pres @PYoes testified at the House Homeland Security Committee Hearing and implored Congress to take action NOW and pass the “Protect and Serve Act”!
