@markminervini @markminervini What do you think about students who know to regularly invest in broad market index ETFs? They believe it's a sure-fire way to make money. Many of these people criticize traders for being ignorant. I see everyone buying ETFs, and there are fewer and fewer traders.

Capitalism works because it fuels innovation. The opportunity for reward creates the incentive to take risk, and risk is what drives discovery. My mother lived 15 extra years because of a drug developed by a public company—one she first received in the experimental stage. That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because capital markets funded years of uncertainty, failure, and research. Companies like Pfizer, Merck, Gilead, Medtronic, and others have produced life-changing drugs and devices that exist only because investors were willing to risk capital. Practically everything that improves our quality of life traces back to money raised in capital markets. And without liquidity, those markets don’t function. Even day traders play an important role in keeping that system working. Trading is a noble profession. Wall Street is often criticized, but the same people doing the critizing are the ones driving Teslas, wearing Ibuds and Nike sneakers, while they are sipping on their Starbucks coffee buying stiff on Amazon. All public companies.

I cleared my position on 10/16 and ended up taking 71% of the profit. I couldn't find any decent trading opportunities after that day. Today, 10/23, rgti 250%→120% ionq 100%→25%, which is a very large retracement.

@KYWWINMM 85% in 3 months is exceptional. The consistency before the breakout is what stands out. Most big gains come with massive drawdowns. This looks disciplined. What's your primary strategy? Trend following, mean reversion, or hybrid?

I bought RGTI, IONQ, and TSLA at the end of August. In less than two months, half of my account saw a gain of 85.54%/2 = approximately 43%. There were still many opportunities in early September, but due to risk management, I couldn't continue to build a position.

Win slowly until you can place crazy large orders and hit homeruns. In ANY conditions the right to trade bigger is gained by your own traction, not by anybody else’s portfolio, general index or worse by random posts on X showing you incredible gains

I learned something new today again! In China, stock market up days are displayed by red 🔴 (because red symbolizes luck and prosperity in Chinese culture). I'm staring at this sea of green 🟢 watching the US market and my brain is suddenly tuned very positive 🤣#AnyIndicatorCanMakeYouHappy

@mikulkal Dear Leoš Mikulka, I spent 2 years with Mark Minervini's MPA and MTP But I still can't make money 2024 -10% I used various methods VCP PBB Power Play But I still seem to lose money slowly until I place crazy large orders and suffer big losses.

@mikulkal I have tried trading with longer weekly K and intraday trading. I don't know which direction to go to achieve such good results like you I hope you can give me some advice
