Final interview. They ask: “Are you willing to relocate or travel 50% of the time?” Your mind blanks. You say: “Yes, absolutely! I love traveling!” Interview ends. No offer. Here’s what they actually want…

Finished this AI startup rebrand last month. Just had the chance to post it. Most AI brands use purple gradients so I went the opposite direction. Owner was happy with the major change in the positioning of their brand towards the right direction. Thoughts?

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has admitted to a technical error that compromised the integrity of the results from the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 157 centres nationwide. Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB registrar, during a press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, said the results of over 387,000 candidates were affected.

I recently came across several complaints from students who wrote the JAMB exam, expressing concerns about their poor results. Some even claimed that the results they received were identical to those from a previous year’s exam, which immediately raised red flags.

The aim isn’t just to point fingers, but to urge educational stakeholders to take a closer look and work towards improving the integrity and reliability of CBT systems in Nigeria. It’s a necessary step toward ensuring a fairer and more credible future for our education system.

Personally, I’ve had a similar experience during my POST-UTME in 2018 at FUTMINNA, I received the same score I had gotten the previous year, despite knowing I performed much better. With my background and extensive knowledge of how databases and little know-how of how backend

These recurring issues made me realize the need to sit down, conduct some research, and write an article that highlights the possible technical causes and suggests ways these problems can be addressed.

The issue isn’t limited to JAMB. It seems to be a broader problem affecting CBT (Computer-Based Test) exams in Nigeria. A friend of mine experienced something similar during UNILORIN’s POST-UTME. Back in my university days, I also encountered students who repeatedly failed
