The Liberal's vote on Ukraine was obviously a trap that the Conservatives could not win. If they voted for the bill the Liberals would say the Conservatives secretly support the Carbon Tax to hurt the CPC with the base. They voted against it so now they are unfairly smeared as being "Anti-Ukraine" despite the most hawkish pro-Ukraine MPs being all in the Conservative Party. There are virtue-signalling pro-Ukraine left-wing politicians but these are the same individuals who could care less when Russia invaded Crimea and Eastern Ukraine in 2014.

Last week, police arrested 5 for blocking the same intersection for few minutes, but after wide condemnation from Muslim organizations, the police allow them to march on busy intersections for the purpose of causing disruption to the lives of Albertans.
