Professor Moses Twesigye-omwe, former Dean of the Faculty, was the main speaker. At Kabale University, we celebrated the success of our partnership today by launching the MTN Spark hub. This is the result of a partnership between the Ugandan Government through the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology @MoICT_Ug, @CenteTech of the Centenary Group, and @MTNUG. Specifically, the regional hub will support youth and innovators at @kabuniversity & Kigezi at large. This hub is equipped with 80 computers and will provide free internet access, as well as a variety of programs designed to help individuals achieve their personal goals. The Permanent Secretary Ministry of ICT @azawedde presided over the launch. We were pleased to host the National Social Security Fund @nssfug career fair this morning. Several insightful presentations have been made about the potential benefits of artificial intelligence. The event provided a platform for students to learn about AI applications in various industries, including healthcare, education, and finance.
