Ruto could drag Kenya into wars that we should not even be part of, and these agreements could also negatively affect our economy. For example, if France were to go to war with a country like Russia, Russia will target countries hosting French military bases, including Kenya. This could lead to loss of lives and serious economic consequences, including a higher cost of living. With these military agreements, the country could face attacks using missiles or drones, leading to airspace closures, cancelled flights, and fewer tourists. Since the agreement also involves the marines, the war could disrupt imports and shipping routes, badly affecting businesses and the economy. Look at how the US-Iran conflict affected the economy of Qatar simply because Qatar hosts US military facilities.

If you are a Kenyan, You must have seen a sustained narrative claiming that your president and his deputy are at loggerheads. They are NOT. You must have heard that the president is persecuting his deputy just the same way the former president was at loggerheads with his deputy. They were not. Here is the thing, The system keeps you in a sustained political debate. This artificial conundrum is designed to distract you and vex your spirits. This debate is meant to sow divisions among citizens. The system thrives in confusion, division and distraction. Listen, The social stratum has the wealthy, the middle class and the poor. The poor are busy looking for survival, they have little time for political correctness. The wealthy are busy looking after their wealth by funding politicians to write legislation that will continue making them wealthier. The crux of the matter is in the middle class where you and I sit. These are the pawns of the game. They are educated but are idiots. They are the ones who go to the queue for voting.  (The poor don't vote unless induced by money). The middle class are the noise decibels. They are the donkeys that work hard to feed the rich. They are heavily taxed. They are the fools thrown into a heated circus to hate each other, create divisions and distract themselves. They claim to be learned but cannot decipher the political con game. The middle class are the ones with big televisions, smartphones and computers. It is here the rich pay the media to sow seeds of confusion and distraction. It is only a foolish Kenyan who thinks the political crooks from both ends of the political divide don't meet privately to laugh at how they have divided the masses. It is only a foolish citizen who thinks politicians serve them. They don't and will never. Politicians serve • The World Bank • World Economic Forum • IMF • USAID • UKAID • America • Britain Refuse to be drawn into imaginary conflicts. Focus on your goals. Mobilize your energies. Politicians won't save you. They are part of the problem. #DrainTheSwamp

Let’s stop sugarcoating it::the drought in Kenya is political. Over 2 million people are facing hunger while leaders hold climate meetings and call it “progress.” Northern Kenya is dust. Wells are empty. Livestock are dying. Futures are evaporating. This is climate injustice. And it keeps hitting the same communities every single time. We are tired of speeches. Tired of pledges. Tired of watching preventable suffering become normal. Fix water systems. Protect pastoralists. Or admit you never cared. No more patience. No more excuses.

Now I understand why those people were able to easily colonize Africa 🙄 It’s not because our ancestors gut feeling was wrong, it’s because even when they knew it was wrong, they simply could not unite for a common goal Some fought back, lost their lives in the process while some collaborated waiting for the system to reward their loyalty. Colonization is still happening today, just a bit differently. I mean, how do you explain people thinking the government’s money builds hospitals, roads, schools etc etc..No, that is your tax money Those are your employees:( how do you still clap for an official who convinced you to send your children to russia and gulf only for them to come back in coffins How did we end up here? What are you afraid of?

A Citizen TV interview somewhere shakes the walls of @StateHouseKenya, and suddenly Parliament develops a fever. Not malaria. Not drought. Not unemployment. A fever called “Kibagendi spoke too loudly.” And like clockwork, the Speaker @HonWetangula jumps. You almost expect to hear a ringtone in the chamber: “Yes sir… how many days, sir? Until further notice, sir? Consider it done, sir.” Anthony Kibagendi gives an opinion just words, not stones, not teargas and the response is suspension. Not debate. Not rebuttal. Suspension. So Parliament has now become a WhatsApp group where only the admin can talk. And then there’s Speaker Moses Wetang’ula. The custodian of debate. The referee. The man who is supposed to protect the House from executive overreach but somehow always looks like he’s protecting the executive from the House. This is the same Speaker who bangs the gavel like it’s a personal vendetta. The moment someone says something uncomfortable, he transforms from neutral umpire to overzealous bouncer at a nightclub. “Out! You disturbed the DJ!” If opinions were electricity, this Parliament would be in darkness. Because every time someone plugs into truth, the Speaker trips the breaker. The irony? The Constitution gives MPs freedom of speech in the House. But now it seems freedom of speech depends on the mood of State House Wi-Fi. Kibagendi says the Executive is holding Parliament hostage and the Speaker’s response is to prove him right in real time. That’s not leadership. That’s live demonstration. It’s like someone shouting, “The fire extinguisher is broken!” and the fire extinguisher replying, “You are suspended for disrespect!” At this rate, Parliament should just install a teleprompter linked directly to the Executive and save everyone the trouble. MPs can just read approved scripts: “Today we agree.” “Tomorrow we agree.” “Next week we still agree.” No dissent. No independence. Just synchronized nodding. And the saddest part? The Speaker acts shocked when people say Parliament has lost its spine. You can’t suspend a spine and expect the body to stand. When debate becomes a punishable offense, democracy starts wearing handcuffs. And if an opinion on TV can cause this much panic, then maybe the problem isn’t the MP. Maybe the problem is how fragile the ego at the top has become. Good night my people.

There is a dangerous lie that keeps resurfacing whenever Africans are lured to fight for Russia. Someone always says: "Why complain, yet Africans also join the US, UK, or French armies?" I once asked that question too. Then I learned the difference between service and disposability. Let me explain, slowly. I am not against adults making choices. If someone chooses to fight, that is their life. But even in war, dignity must exist. Accountability must exist. Human value must exist. In the US, UK, and France, a soldier is documented. A contract is signed. Your embassy is aware. If you fall, your family is notified. Your body is recovered. Compensation is paid. If you are injured, you are extracted. Your family can go to the embassy and be helped You are treated as a human being. Now look at Russia. Recruitment is hidden. Visas are routed through third countries, not embassies. A Kenyan having their visa done in Uganda or Qatar Why? So that when you die, no office claims you. When your family asks questions, no one answers. When you are wounded, no one comes. And the Rus embassy can deny everything Bodies are left behind. Salaries vanish. Most never receive even their first pay. Compensation never reaches families. Silence replaces responsibility. This is not military service. This is using African bodies and discarding African lives. So hear me clearly: Going to fight for Russia is not courage. It is abandonment dressed up as opportunity. Do not go. Your life is worth more than secrecy.

@AokoOtieno_ But the big question here is, is the party bigger than the masses? It will take a lot of convincing to decide where next.

On second thought, here’s my straightforward take: President @WilliamsRuto infrastructure fund (selling stakes in state-owned enterprises like Kenya Pipeline Company) is a smart plan to reduce Kenya’s dependence on Bretton Woods institutions (IMF and World Bank). It means fewer loans with harsh conditions, fewer tax increases, and less austerity pain for citizens, while unlocking more homegrown capital from privatisations. Yes, it’s just a drop in the ocean compared to Kenya’s huge budget needs and borrowing habits, but it can genuinely help break the debt cycle if scaled right. To critics: Ruto is sincerely trying to deliver here, but my support is conditional. Those implementing it must not mess this up. Focus on execution that brings jobs, cheaper transport costs, and real benefits for everyday Kenyans, or the whole plan is pointless!
