@portmantoet @LUFC1992_v2 You personally, sure. But you’re smoking crack if you don’t think USMNT Twitter would be dragging them for that post rn
English

Nah. Wouldn’t be an issue for me at all (as a US fan). I totally get finding reasons to trash talk a club you don’t like (a Leeds fan talking shit about Chelsea). That makes sense.
But an England fan who’s legitimately upset that Chelsea posted celebrating one of their players scoring in a World Cup? Soft.
English

Chelsea have deleted it.
Admin getting sacked.

An English club posting this is an absolute disgrace, but then again I expect nothing less from that scum club
English

@portmantoet @LUFC1992_v2 The comp here would be if Inter Miami posted this after Argentina tied and then eliminated the US in a semi final, which absolutely would be an issue
English

@LUFC1992_v2 I mean, he plays for them, so they should be allowed to post celebrating his goal 🤷♂️ Inter Miami is partly owned by Beckham, and posting celebrating Messi’s assists. Think he’s going to get mad about that?

@DanWetzel Word is they has suspicions before hiring him as HC. If so, they could have just not hired him at all. I think that would qualify as reasonable

A lot of speculation on whether Michigan suspected the Sherrone Moore-Paige Shiver affair.
Yes, of course it did.
In the fall of 2025, U of M conducted a full HR investigation into the situation, including interviewing both participants, who denied it. There wasn’t enough evidence to prove an inappropriate relationship.
In November, the school commissioned a second investigation using an outside firm (the relationship broke up soon after, Shiver then told what happened and Moore was fired that day).
All of this was reported by ESPN and others last December.
Michigan has certainly not cloaked itself in glory with its many scandals, but not sure what more it could have reasonably done on this particular issue.

@TopTierVols @BoxOfficeVols We do, but 3 are more likely than the others. And it’s not the 3 you named.

@IsItOutEa Their direction is this and only this. No theories needed. They don’t view it as “killing it” because they expect the noise to die eventually and everyone to keep buying the game.

@KaidenRose7 I’m not coping I’m just trying to understand their direction with the mode because it just feels like they killed it imo
English

Call me crazy, but what if EA removed the XP sliders because they’re laying the groundwork for some kind of online Road to Glory mode next year?
Maybe they’re testing player progression, balancing upgrades, and working out bugs before introducing it. It would also explain the “competitive advantage” comment in the patch notes.
Just a theory… what do y’all think?

@Rainbow_Beast25 @scarylawyerguy Hilary was one of the least popular candidates of all time. We may not know if Bernie could have won the EV, but we know Hilary couldn’t. There’s no amount of spin that can change the fact she was a weak candidate that was pushed by the establishment
English

@KaidenRose7 @scarylawyerguy Hillary had plenty of popular support and won the majority of the PV but ultimately lost the EV. Not sure if Sanders could have done better. Also, neither party since GHWB has successfully won the Presidency after two terms of a member of the same party in office

@miakoko6y0s6g @PAPAxC4 What’s the fucking point of addressing something in a vacuum when we don’t live in a vacuum? Yeah it’d be fine if that vacuum reality existed, but it doesn’t, so what’s the point of leading off your statement with that soft shit?
English

That's why he started it off with "in a vacuum" moron. Meaning that if that was the only change by itself, it's not the end of the world. The "in a vacuum" qualifier means he's not addressing it in relation to all the other scumbag changes they made. And he's not wrong, simply adding an option to pay to bypass grinding doesn't matter if they hadn't changed anything else, thus in a vacuum don't mind it.
English

iight here we go. I wanted to elaborate on my video yesterday regarding the #CFBPlayDontPay as my opinion is slightly different than other peoples.
In a vacuum I personally don't think giving an option to buy coach levels in an offline mode to avoid the grind is the end of the world. If the decision has been made that microtransactions are coming to offline modes, something that only affects a solo playthrough is harmless to the rest of the player base.
Removing the Coach XP sliders to accompany the microtransaction is first off greasy and second off ruins the pacing of the game for everyone.
It also feels like such an unnecessary thing to do. I don't think any user that'd be willing to pay to skip the coach level grind would care one bit that there was a XP slider. I also don't think the people who are upset with the removal of this slider would ever consider buying coach levels in the first place. I think EA got this decision all wrong.
I've seen people share my results that I won 10 straight undefeated nattys and only got to level 48 and why am I complaining I've won all there is to win, who cares about coach level. Well to me, Coach XP exists because levelling up and building your coach abilities is the heart beat of every dynasty mode. When you can achieve 10 nattys in a row and can still only unlock HALF of the abilities in an offline mode, you lose all belief that the current XP system was designed with reasonability in mind.
Wanna get some of those fun tier 4 abilities that your coach build specialized in? Maybe 15-20 undefeated seasons in a row will get you there across 2-3 skill trees....and that's just to unlock the damn things. These abilities are supposed to be exciting perks that can completely change your experience and help turn your school into a bigger program. I want to earn them while I'm trying to get my school to a powerhouse level, while I'm on that grind from 1 star school to 5 star school but with how the pace of XP is right now in game you're not sniffing the entry level of these abilities until, as mentioned above, you've won everything that you could possibly want to win.
This isn't Ultimate Team where you squad day 1 is your squad that you build up until day 365. Most dynasty players play dozens of dynasty runs throughout the lifecycle of the game and start from scratch each time. It's not like the Coach level 1 to 100 grind is attached to our account and we can bring our progress with us every time we want to start a new dynasty.
Tanking the progression in a game while offering a pay to avoid grind option is the kinda shit you see in a free to play mobile game, we shouldn't be seeing this in a a triple A sports title, a damn game that was brought back to life 3 years ago and branded like it's for the community, it's for the people who were still playing NCAA Football 14 a decade after it released, for the biggest diehard community in sports gaming BY FAR.
I've seen Bordeaux and NTE bring up that they don't care about their partnership with EA when taking a stand against this. Those guys have massive channels are gonna be perfectly fine with or without being EA Creators.
For me, being an EA Creator is a huge opportunity to help with my channels exposure with the early access and it sucks going into year 15 that these windows are so important still but it is what it is. I worked so hard to get to a point where Mills vouched for me to get me involved with EA. Every event I've gone too or participated in I've done everything that I can to maximize my time and my value to EA and the developers.
As an EA Creator it's on us to provide constructive feedback and represent the communities we're 'leaders' of. That is all this is. EA chose us because of our standing in the community and how passionate we all are about their games. #CFBPlayDontPay is our feedback. We don't want it to be Coach XP speed this year and then something else taken away next year to drive spending more money.
July 9th we get comms from CFBDirect and they have a great opportunity to restore a lot of peoples faith in a game that has all the potential in the world to be everything the devs and everything the players want it to be.
✅Turn the Fast/Fastest Coach XP sliders back on
✅Address the ratings decay/CPU recruiting bugs
✅Tune the NIL demands of lower rated players
Cool, peace ✌️
English

@PAPAxC4 If all they did was add in your ability to pay, that would be true. But they removed a feature to allow for that payment. To say adding micro transactions to single player modes doesn’t affect the wider fanbase is silly when it’s *never* *just* adding in micro transactions.
English

@KaidenRose7 Why did you leave out the in a vacuum part that's arguably the most important of that statement.
Me being able to pay to get to level 100 has zero affect on your dynasty mode.
I'm not talking about other consequences of allowing microtransactions, slippery slope, etc.
English

@asdasd_asd37998 @daveweigel Her taking AIPAC money and being a fucking spy are bigger issues for Dems. And the fact that she is saying these things to conservatives and not Dems is the problem here, not the content of what she’s saying.

@KaidenRose7 @daveweigel What did she say that is not something a Democrat would get behind.
