On Monday, Gov. Bob Ferguson signed the Democrats’ unconstitutional Washington state income tax bill into law.   Marketed as a “millionaires’ tax,” supporters have made sweeping claims to build support for an idea Washington voters have rejected 10 times over the past century.   House Republican Caucus Chair Peter Abbarno debunks some of those claims:   ❌ Makes life more affordable. ✅ No broad-based tax relief.   ❌ Free breakfast and lunch for K-12. ✅ Isn’t in law, just stated as intent.   ❌ Will only ever apply to millionaires. ✅ Will apply to everyone eventually.

@AnthonyMixerWA @GovBobFerguson @Scott43LD Yeah, we heard that one from @GovBobFerguson before and yet he still failed to demonstrate any modicum of courage against the left in his party. Expect the same result.

Earlier this afternoon, @GovBobFerguson explained to press that he plans to draft an all-cuts budget. He mentioned that if an increase in the sales or property tax came to his desk, he would veto it. (Yea…) He has no position yet on socialist Rep. @Scott43LD’s devastating business tax proposal.

@BrandiKruse goes over how a Washington realtor noticed a pattern of tomfoolery, and helped her break a $250MILLION corruption story involving taxpayer dollars. The question now becomes if anyone will be held accountable.

This is such a devastating statement of the abject failure of 40 years of one party rule in WA state.

The King County Grants fraud is even worse than we all thought, but it is the dereliction of duty by the King County Council that made this whole thing predictable. Fox13's @hanamkim with an excellent interview with former KC CM @KathyLambert , who explains the 'WHY' aspect.
