We actually have a problem now on @monad with the possibility of most nft projects struggling to mint their collection out, unless they give out some of their supply to investors or people outside monad community. This is due to many community members not having enough funds to mint, as many of them were hoping for a good airdrop from monad to mint most nfts and support most projects. Maybe nft projects would have to cut supply down, reduce mint price or add some juicy utility to make people wanna mint and even hold We all can try to be as delusional as we like about this issue but the truth is that 80 percent of those people who got heartbroken would leave the eco within the first 2 months after mainnet. They'd feel that the ecosystem they had come to love after so long didn't value them and people like to feel valued. Many dapps/nfts building in the eco would now look to break out of the monad bubble, and reach out to wider CT to sustain what they're building longterm because they all need their own large community/userbase. Would have been much easier for them, if the monad team had looked to retain their own general community especially the 5500 they claimed they'd make happy. I don't blame anyone crashing out tbh. I'd mint the nft projects I love and contribute to the dapps I love and have been contributing to for a while now. they all have a lot of work to do especially with bringing in a new community from wider CT starting from mainnet. Imagine a community defending an ecosystem for a long time from fuds and haters In wider CT only for the people from wider CT who kept hating for months to be prioritized over them, especially a significant percentage of the eligible community.. that's so sad man. I don't know why some founders do stuff like this, I genuinely want to understand the idea behind giving half of your selected eligible community measly allocations and giving more to influencers from outside CT. What do you know that we don't know? We'd like to be educated on this because the founders are smart people. What data/ideology was used to make this decision, was the decision made in view of future crypto or web3 trends? I think if the community who are crashing out got to know why the team did this, There'd be less crashouts on the tl. I'm not crashing out but I feel their pain. @intern @billmondays
