Last semi final England played before today Kobbie Mainoo put in a MOTM performance. Playing O’rielly, an injured Reece James and Bellingham out position in pivot + Jordan Henderson over him was criminal. Why take him if you don’t trust him? Rice injured, Henderson injured. He could have helped a lot vs Norway and given us the quality we needed to get out today vs Argentina late. Staying in a back four and Mainoo for Rice sub would’ve made a lot more sense.
