As recently as October of last year, @katherineortho was sexting naked pictures to multiple men. I am refraining from sharing the most explicit photos I received, but she is an active nymphomaniac. I did not want to go public with this, but I had no choice after she blocked me.

This is what happens when the gospel becomes secondary within the church. Suggested donations become a part of your website for things we expect from those who consider themselves servants of Christ. I don't recall pastor Jim Bob expecting $150 to come bless your home and car.

@Romanity__ I'm talking about the diptychs. In the diptychs, which are read out by every Patriarch during the liturgy, Moscow is placed before Cyprus. I don't know what you're talking about, but it's not the diptychs.

@Romanity__ That is not relevant. All Patriarchs precede all autocephalous Churches in the diptychs. You can see this for yourself, watch a liturgy celebrated by Patriarch Bartholomew. He mentions the Moscow Patriarch before the Archbishop of Cyprus.

@KalebAtlanta @THEORTHOCHAT Incorrect, Cyprus is the only permanently autocephalous Church other than the Pentarchy that was granted by an Ecumenical Council. Cyprus is right after the Pentarchy.

@KalebAtlanta In England & was charged £40 (about $54). Told this was the amount set by Diocese for certificate, presented as non-optional. I was fine giving honorarium, donation, & paying for candle, towel etc. & understand that admin costs money, but it felt like a lot for a certificate.

Last night, someone shared with me this story from his own baptism, in England (I'm censoring names at his request): February: V was told to come to the cathedral to be baptized. V's priest baptized him, but the administrator accosted him because only put £5 down as a donation.

And contrary to popular belief, this is not just a charge for use of the building and the priest's time (which would still be simony, btw), I can personally attest to witnessing a priest pressure a convert into paying to receive the sacrament. She wouldn't be received without it.

@GermanCarranza3 Christ acted as a substitute to accept the punishment that was owed to us for our sin, and in doing so, He atoned for us. This is in the Bible. I'm trying to find the origins of the phrase “penal substitutionary atonement,” do you have information on that or not?

@KalebAtlanta There are 2 classical, defined, and accepted theories of atonement named by the Holy Fathers. Ransom and Recapitulation. Christus Victor is another name for the Ransom theory. PSA is not Orthodox. It is legalistic with many problems, first being that it isn't in the Bible.

@KalebAtlanta Biblical Theology of the Old Testament by Calvinist theologian Johann P. Lange translated by Sophia Taylor. The exact word is "substitutionary atonement" but it refers to PSA.

@GermanCarranza3 Most theological terms were coined in reference to deviations from Orthodoxy. Why wouldn't the fathers use the term "substitutionary atonement?" Well, it's because Christ's atoning sacrifice didn't need to be explicitly identified as substitutionary. It's already understood.

@they_arefake2 “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools” The Lord established His Church, and His apostles passed down His teaching. We, the Orthodox, inherited the teaching from the apostles and keep it, yet you think you know the Scriptures better.

@GreenTextRepost I have an ex that cheated on me. She ended up a single mother with a son that has two last names. Then she tried to start an onlyfans, but no one bought it and she deleted it a few months later. It was all pretty hilarious ngl

Being a faithful Christian is insufficient to get you a wife. The fact that a man attends church regularly and has identical religious to a woman has almost no bearing on whether she will want to marry him. If you are a religious guy who is struggling, you need to become attractive and desirable as a spouse in the same ways that make people attractive in the secular world.

You’ll be shocked to learn that the preferences and dealbreakers of young orthodox women are identical to those of secular women

@DABURATRON Seems like that was the total opposite story Gege was trying to tell. Kenjaku loathed Tengen for remaining stagnant, while he pursued a new mode of cursed energy even greater than himself. He was not stuck in the past by any means.

This is what’s really fun about Kenjaku. For a being so intelligent, literally the embodiment of change with how he switches body’s and so dedicated to finding smt new to amuse him, he was always stuck in the past instead of adapting. I think that was one of the reasons he failed
TOSHI ˎˊ˗ 🔩⚙️@geoddeeezz

To add to this, I will always adore how despite Kenny being around so long they never assimilate to the modern. Even someone as outlandish as them is still full of traditions and old phrases. “Even dust can pile up into a mountain.” Like ok gramps?
