@gingyman1 @brutalfightz2 Use your brain. Him recording is the only way to save the child. If he takes the kid, she carries through on her threat to make a police report saying he raped the kid. Courts give mothers custody by default, add a molestation accusation and he likely never sees the kid again.

@brutalfightz2 This absolutely breaks my heart. My night is literally ruined I want to throw up. This bitch deserves to be in a mental hospital and this sad excuse of a “man” needs to be publicly castrated. Get the fuck off the couch and save your child

@KalebAtlanta In England & was charged £40 (about $54). Told this was the amount set by Diocese for certificate, presented as non-optional. I was fine giving honorarium, donation, & paying for candle, towel etc. & understand that admin costs money, but it felt like a lot for a certificate.

Patriarch Prime, PhD ☦️ 🇺🇸 🇦🇶
Last night, someone shared with me this story from his own baptism, in England (I'm censoring names at his request): February: V was told to come to the cathedral to be baptized. V's priest baptized him, but the administrator accosted him because only put £5 down as a donation.
Patriarch Prime, PhD ☦️ 🇺🇸 🇦🇶@KalebAtlanta

And contrary to popular belief, this is not just a charge for use of the building and the priest's time (which would still be simony, btw), I can personally attest to witnessing a priest pressure a convert into paying to receive the sacrament. She wouldn't be received without it.

I recognize that Allah is not a man in the Quran. However, doesn’t He have all the body parts of a resurrected man like Jesus Christ? If I recall, doesn’t the Quran say that Allah sits upon or mounts His Throne and that the righteous look upon the face of Allah in beatific vision with their own eyes? And doesn’t canonical Hadith show that Muhammad quoted Genesis 1.27 with approval that Adam was made in the form of the Merciful so that it is not permitted to hit a man in the face? Didn’t Taymiyya explain that the form of the Merciful has face, two hands, shins, etc.?

Arab invaders attacked a convent of nuns and captured a beautiful virgin, whom they offered as a gift to the commander of their troop. When the commander saw her, he was dazzled by her beauty and sought to corrupt her. She then said to him: "Wait a moment, for I have learned a skill passed down among virgins, and it can only be performed by a virgin — otherwise, it is of no use." He asked her: "And what is this skill?" She replied: "It is an oil: if someone is anointed with it, no sword or weapon can harm them. You, who go often to war, would greatly benefit from it." = He said to her: "And how can I be sure of that?" So she took some oil and said to him: "Anoint your neck with it and give me your sword so that I may strike you." = He replied: "No! You shall anoint your own neck first, and I will strike with the sword." She agreed gladly, anointed her neck with the oil, and said: "Strike with all your strength!" He drew his sword, which was very sharp, and she bent her neck. He struck with all his might, and her head rolled to the ground. Thus, she chose to die by the sword rather than to defile her virginity. The commander was deeply grieved and wept bitterly for having killed such a beautiful soul. He then realized that she had deliberately deceived him in order to escape defilement and sin… This is Saint Febronia of Syria.

@Rach4Patriarchy @RuslanKD I'm afraid your description is not universal. I had zero catechesis. Visted many parishes, none had anything akin to a Sunday school. I'm in the UK so maybe its different in the US.

I just saw a clip of @RuslanKD saying he didn’t think children in Orthodox churches receive instruction or read scripture like Baptist Church Sunday school kids. First of all, most Orthodox churches do have Sunday school. It’s just before or after liturgy. Second, I was Protestant for 40 years and have read far more scripture in Orthodox churches than I ever did in any of the Protestant churches. More importantly, the meanings of those scriptures were far better illuminated for me in Orthodoxy hermeneutics. Ruslan, you are still extremely ignorant on Orthodox Church life. We have a daily practice. Daily scripture readings, and prayers multiple times a day. We have long catechisms. It blows the heresy in these random protestant denominations out of the water. All I ask is that you stop talking about the Orthodox Church until you are no longer ignorant about what it actually is, and how we actually practice. You don’t seem to have a clue, yet you are instructing people on these matters as though you do know what you’re talking about. Lord have mercy. It’s infuriating.

@EthanWayne2001 That's certainly true. I've met them. But that doesn't explain how I was pretty successful in dating prior to conversion (multiple LTRs, lots of flings, etc.) but now it's just impossible both in the Church and outside it. The entire culture is broken.

While frustration is understandable, nobody has an obligation to date another person. And we should be able to talk about the serious pastoral problem that is poorly socialized young men without being immediately labeled anti-male. A lot of these young male converts, and I speak as one, are just plain weird. And being weird hurts you in the dating world. It’s just how it is. Getting angry and repeating incel/misogynistic rhetoric doesn’t change that.

@T96512Tm @MorgothsReview Antifa types are state-sanctioned troublemakers. Other groups wouldn't get away with that behaviour. The right need to behave impeccably, not be baited into even the slightest of scuffles, and prove to the public that they're not 'skinhead thugs'.

To go to a patriotic rally in the UK: The bank transactions to buy a train ticket are tracked and logged. Your phone acts as a tracking beacon every step of the way. When you arrive, the facial recognition technology screens you against your passport photo and identifies you instantly. This links back to your phone and social media activity, allowing the AI to assess your degree of risk and or personality type.

Life changes so fast. I was told this morning I have cancer in my neck. They are still doing test, I do not trust the doctors as they have been contradicting themselves but I had an MRI done yesterday due to a lump under my jaw. Necrotic lymph node. I’m trying to get a second opinion and do other treatments before chemo and radiation. Please pray for me and my family. Lord have mercy on me a sinner.

St. Paisios discusses Icons on clothing: “Is it correct, Geronda, for people to wear T-shirts with pictures of saints on them?” If the picture is on a T-shirt or jacket, it is fine; it does not do any harm. It is certainly better than putting on a picture of the devil! But if they print the picture of a saint on their trousers, that is inappropriate; it’s impiety. Some pious people like this kind of thing (holy T-shirts). When the Patriarch Demetrios visited the United States, T-shirts had been made with pictures of him and the Church of Haghia Sophia in Constantinople. “Was it out of piety that they did that?” I would think so. Why else? They were Orthodox Christians after all, not jews or muslims! Some people have good sense and do things right, just like there are doctors who make good decisions and doctors that do not. -St. Paisios the Athonite 🇬🇷☦️ from Spiritual Counsels Vol. 1: With Pain & Love for Contemporary Man. pg. 316

Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

Muslims electing Muslims exactly because they’re Muslims - they then govern as Muslims, for Muslims. Demographic changes, birth rates and mass immigration mean that this is going to accelerate, rapidly. What is our country going to look like in fifty years? Twenty years? Ten years? Honestly, think about that. On current projections, Britain has an Islamic future. That is just a fact. I don’t like it, in fact it terrifies me, but it’s true. I do not want my grandchildren’s children to grow up in a Muslim Britain. Tower Hamlets. Rochdale. Birmingham. Luton. Blackburn. Large parts of London. I could go on. A sectarian nightmare. Deep divisions across the community in parts of those towns, in others it’s entirely united - united by Islam. That is our future. Unless we act, unless we organise, unless we vote. There is still time. Restore Britain is the only serious political party that has the courage to stand up for a Christian Britain. We are the only political party with the courage to do what is necessary. Mass immigration from Islamic countries will end, day one. Banning halal slaughter, cousin marriage, the burqa/niqab. Dominating Islamic prayer will be outlawed, along with any form of Sharia Law. We will not tolerate the call to prayer being blared out across British towns. The colonisation of our cities by foreign enclaves practising medieval practices will end. The islamification of Britain will be halted and reversed. That is what Restore Britain will do. If you agree, then join us. Join the party, attend your local meetings, volunteer. Help us. Because we need it, and nobody else is going to do it. Not Farage, not the Tories, certainly not Labour. This is up to us now. And there is one answer. Restore Britain.

Star Wars prequals: the acting is largely shite, the tone is all over the shop, the dialogue it atrocious - as if written by a child - the character development and plots in general are absurdly poor. These are poor films. Little more than a vehicle for cashing in on past glory.
