I made the mistake of starting to play Honkai Star Rail, and I'm loving it. Such a great turn-based RPG, looks gorgeous, fantastic music, stellar characters and engaging story

I've had this conversation with a lot of people lately, so I'd like to say it here too: Every workplace has some kind of bullshit, the trick is finding a workplace with the kind of bullshit you're okay dealing with. Nowhere is perfect, but we can often make things better

Hey TTRPG/Game Design Twitter. How do you feel about attack rolls in TTRPG games, rolling to hit is fun, but is it better than always hitting and simply dealing damage? Would a system of damage dealing and reduction work well in a TTRPG, instead of rolling to hit?
