How do you explain VCU over NC or Miami Ohio winning in the playin round…. Plus, if Santa Clara gets one of two calls (the TO or the clean steal) they would have beaten S22M Kentucky … this sport needs a Cap on the amount that college students can play…. Love to see these kids that a basic English test the 2nd or 3rd week of April and see those scores

Higher seeds and power conferences are dominating so far through the first round of the NCAA Tourney. High Point over Wisconsin was the only real upset in round one. Based on the past two seasons I think NIL and the transfer portal have killed tourney Cinderellas.

You guys are killing college sports… just look at the NBA, people no longer go to games and the ratings are way off and are now are losing to fishing… Im a 61 year old professional and have no interest in watching a SEC team play teams from the B10 or B12 that pay $20M for a roster…. Most of the Country outside of Ky was routing for Santa Clara for this exact reason

Seton Hall may have the most lethargic, uninterested fans in the conference, an NIL budget that trails the top half of the league, and plays a boring brand of basketball. Doesn’t matter. What Sha has done over there is COY worthy, and should give Friar fans hope for next yr

Jaden, I and I would say 99.99% of the Pirate fans (including Alumni) would agree with you. He has convinced those in power that with more funding we can be a mid to lower upper level Big East program. We may never have the resources of the top 3 but there is no reason not to be in the next tier funding group. He is just terrific and cannot be blamed for a few missed FTs that would have tipped 3 of the Ls to Ws.

Saying this in a year where Sha has already more than doubled Seton Hall’s win total from last season makes this all the more absurd.
Sha isn’t the problem, the lack of NIL in comparison to everyone else in the Big East is.
He’s doing damn good for what he’s gotta deal with.
