@FrN586929893094 @as1lmhsa that's interesting, but I'm pretty certain that is a chip in the windshield or water droplet reflecting the light of that street lamp. It shows up as the car is moving, then stays stationary/unchanged, then disappears the same instant the street lamp turns off. It's a reflection.

@as1lmhsa Slow down this video and focus on the right hand side directly above the street lamp as soon as the video starts it looks like an explosion then the plane comes hurling down

@DineshDSouza Hmmm... if only there were a way to check and see if anyone else took a photo or video that day... like, some sort of digital network thingy that a computer could connect to, that lets you access multiple sources of news coverage.. but alas, this was the ONLY photo taken that day

@geoffmanaugh Just placed an order for A Burglar's Guide To The City... looking forward to reading it! Curious if an audiobook version exists? Also curious if you've ever posted any thoughts on the big $30M+ Easter Day heist from GardaWorld in Sylmar a few months ago? Fascinating story...

20 years ago today I launched a website called BLDGBLOG, about architecture in various fields, from military adventurism to sci-fi to horror to materials science to folklore to poetry to burglary & crime. A blog about what I would now call spatial anthropology.

@stickermule Anthony... I signed up for Sticker Mule alerts to get your company's deals and promos. You just used your company's access to me to send a condescending personal political message. I didn't want to know your political views, but you just forced them on me, uninvited. Goodbye SM👋🏻

Donald Trump was shot. I don’t care what your political views are but the hate for Trump and his supporters has gone too far. People are terrified to admit they support Trump. I’ve been scared myself. Americans shouldn’t live in fear. I support Trump. Many at Sticker Mule do. Many at Sticker Mule also support Biden. The political hate needs to stop. Today a bullet almost killed Donald Trump. He’s got 5 kids. One’s still a teenager. No one should have to die and sacrifice the happiness of their family to run for office. If Donald Trump can risk that, the least the rest of us can do is vocalize our support and help end the hate. The more people realize that kind-hearted, compassionate people support Trump, the sooner the hate will end. I’m speaking up today and will do more in the future to stop this insane political hate. Awesome people, all over the world, love Trump. Don’t limit your friendships, and diminish your happiness by indulging in political hate. Vocalize your support. Stop the hate. @statelypenguin @aaronposting It felt crowded at the time, but was nothing compared to the crowds that came after. 2003 was my first year but it was still a bit of a shitshow, hard to navigate, etc. In 2004 Goldenvoice was way better prepared, and personally I was too. 2004 was peak Coachella, all musicheads

@aaronposting And the crowd wouldnt have been ridiculous like it is now. Still comparatively small and not full of influencer types.

@theandy1 @aaronposting @Concert_People YES!!!! Bonnaroo '06 was my 2nd favorite fest of all time, behind only Coachella 04. And Radiohead at Bonnaroo '06 was the best Radiohead concert of all time... not just my opinion, but Thom's too!

The longer I look at this the more insane it is. I’ve somehow only just noticed Stereolab and LCD Soundsystem and they’re two of the best bands ever. Fucking crazy

@aaronposting I was front and center for both. It was Pixies reunion after a decade break. Thom said they didn't deserve to follow them. "Pixies and REM changed my life." As Kim Deal exited the stage, she shouted "See you all at the Kraftwerk set!"

If I saw the original lineup of the Pixies and then Radiohead came onstage immediately afterwards I’d be reduced to a pile of dust

@aaronposting This particular festival truly changed my life, and I'm not being hyperbolic. It was my second @coachella, went in '03 for Beasties, but didn't really know what I was doing. In '04 I did it right. 1st time seeing @theflaminglips, seen em 61 times since. LCDSS, Pixies, RH... 🤯

Ravens played their worst game, by far, in the biggest of the year… they weren’t discipline.. they weren’t gritty.. they weren’t creative.. they just played bad. On the flip side… The lights are the brightest and the Chiefs are playing better than ever. Nice reminder for all of us… we’re witnessing a dynasty for a reason. Smart, tough, competitive.. lead by 3 🐐s who refuse to lose. Shit is BEAUTIFUL

@ESPNFANSUPPORT I'm trying to read ESPN+ article. I have the Disney/ESPN/Hulu bundle, and am logged in. But it still says "log in to continue reading" so I click that and get pop-up: "You're All Set. Welcome Back! Continue Reading" but clicking just returns me to the same problem

@MichaelBorkey NAILED IT. Old SEC fans still live in denial this new reality, and it’s been satisfying to watch them melt down with takes like: “After getting embarrassed by lowly Missouri, we need to think about getting rid of Lea/Stoops/Beamer/Heupel/Napier/Pittman !!!
