I dont know if this reaches "right" ladies or gents, but I guess, this definitely isn’t for everyone. I suspect a lot of you folks on here are like me. If you’re big on planning, thinking long-term, and overanalyzing things, then read on. I’m not 100% sure this is the answer I’m looking for, but I’m trying. With that being said, I’ve been going through a rough patch for the last few months. Dealing with depression (for lack of a better word) on and off. I know, I seem like the unlikeliest person to get depressed, but it’s true. I started to feel like all my long-term dreams are useless. The version of me who’s confident, happy, doing well, and living freely began to feel like a fantasy. But it can’t be — because I know it can be done. So I started asking why. And an idea began to form: maybe it’s the way I’m looking at things. The facts of my life are great — I’m healthy, my body is improving, my work is solid, I’m making good money, and my friends are doing well too. Yet I’m not happy. Maybe I’ve started seeing life through fogged-up glass — everything dull, nothing vivid. Is it that I’m afraid to live? Am I always preparing to live instead of actually living? And is that preparation slowly killing me? After thinking more, I realized something: a friend of mine, Vedant, takes the same courses as I do. While I take tons of notes, he barely does — and he’s much happier. He’s living. I’m preparing to live. He just flew to Dubai for fun, while my subconscious reaction was, “Not now, not ready to enjoy it yet.” It makes sense now: I’ve been treating everything — my courses, the gym, eating healthy — as preparation for life. But the truth is, I’m more than ready to live. I don’t need to be some perfect hybrid of David Goggins + Wim Hof + a millionaire to start. I can start now. I feel like the main difference is a law of vibration thing: If you’re always preparing, the message you are perpetuating is that there is always a need to prepare. That you are never ready to go. So you won’t actually learn to accommodate this reality. You won’t be ready, ever. So here’s what I’m doing about it: Stop taking so many notes. I don’t need to turn every 1-hour video into 2 hours of note-taking. My brain can grasp what matters. Stop seeing self-development as a prerequisite to living. I’m competent in so many ways already. I don’t need more to start. I have permission to start living now. Everything I’m doing — the learning, the training, the growth — is not preparation for life. It is life. I would like to request @SahilBloom @warikoo @AlexHormozi @danmartell @HealthyGamerGG, and others to please share your views.

Im at the Frankfurt Airport for a 10 hr layover. I have been traveling around for years but now it feels different. The hate for India and Indians is at peak and we subconsciously feel every one is hating on us. It's been 3 hrs now, I noticed a fellow brown colored human being who took a flight with me from Dublin. Humble clothing, unkempt face, a ragged backpack and a faded jacket. Something told me this man was poor. Most ppl were either looking at him with a judgmental look that I hate or avoiding him completely. I saw him looking at the food menu at different outlets, the cheapest I guess. My heart ached for him, he could be a hard working brother who hasn't come to terms with spending Euros yet. I have brought extra food with me. I walked up to him with my parcel of food, I asked, "Aap Dublin se aaye hain?" He smiled and answered- "Ji." Then I asked, "Kahan ja rahe hain?" "Karachi, Paxtaan!' He said, beaming. I turned around and walked back to my chair. Jaa mar!!

The British survived pretty well back then because our cities were far less industrialized. There were far more trees, lots of them. Hence, temps were lower. And even when the temps did get high, it never felt as unbearably hot as it does today.

There is a belief that Italians slay in Paris. In reality, it's more complicated than that. The thing is, French men aren't threatened by Italians. They are okay with some short Italian man sleeping with French women because it's "adorable". Meanwhile, a tall jacked Anglo or Germanic man going to town on a French woman attacks the masculinity of French men. So local French men have social codes in place to prevent that. However, this leads to the forbidden fruit and taboo effect. French women might date an Italian guy but they still fantasize about having some All American Chad or some bold Aussie going to town on them.
