I cannot believe The Odyssey is a real film... this scene is genuinely so bad.

@Spencer09931609 I found it in extremely mid. It’s one you can make it sitting through once, but the hype is a bit much. But a lot of people love it so who is to say?

After using Siri Ai for almost 1 months now! I gotta say that Siri Ai can finally get the same results as ChatGPT and Claude so I decide, I’m deleting Claude now 🥹

@RomanGuy20 @ParkerOrtolani Then you’re probably using it wrong. There’s so many things Siri can do that outside cloud AIs will never be able to do.

Sigh. Apple’s new Siri STILL sucks. I’m still miffed after I bought an iPhone 16 Max Ultra Super model so I could use their “AI” a couple years ago. Is four months enough to improve this? Same old Siri.

@kplikethebird Undetected mode toggling went unnoticed and somehow your conclusion is that this company is making quality wares?

Just noticed I've been been working in ChatGPT Work all day without realizing it. I toggled over absentmindedly during a meeting and then afterward just started drafting, file-searching, Slack-pulling - everything I'm used to doing in Codex. We're gonna be okay, fam.

@camsoft2000 Over the past year I’ve come to a similar conclusion. I’m basically working a little differently, with more headaches. At the end of the day I feel more like a sleuthing babysitter whose workflow is being driven by Wall Street.

Has AI actually made us 10x developers or even 2x? Sure we can pretend we do more by pumping out AI slop and I do my fair share of this but production quality work feels more painful, spend too much of my time either waiting or reviewing AI’s incomprehensible code and summaries. I’ve got AI burnout. Maybe this is just a phase but I want to be able to relax in an evening without doom scrolling on X reading about AI this AI that.

@markgurman Company with no moat, horrendous UX chops and who treats LLMs as the center of gravity is gonna upend consumer hardware. Sure. Brilliant take.

Also worth noting: Apple considers OpenAI’s hardware a real threat, combining some of the best engineers with the best AI. Suing OpenAI for trade secret theft could seriously slow down or even completely alter OpenAI’s ability to compete with Apple devices.

@zachtratar Random? I was pretty focused. Chat was tiny, Chat was trim, one-fifty megs, sleek and slim. Now it’s bloated, stitched with glue — gigs of Electron, with Codex too. Very tired of growth-hacked, shareholder-driven bloated wrapperware.

It's understandable that people think Notion is a note-taking app. But really, for a very long time actually, it's actually been a "malleable software" app! A blank screen that let's you type is the simplest entry-point. But you should be able to capture and create anything. Solve any problem. Systematize any process. What is truly the difference between a notepad and an infinite canvas that's living and breathing? It's how you decide to draw on it. The ShipOS launch today is a flag in the sand marking a big shift. Notion builds and runs code -- and it's changing the way businesses and professionals operate. It's a tool. And a pretty cool one I might add. That's why I'm proud to work on it. As always, send feedback my way.😅

let me get this straight: chatgpt got to 1b users by teaching ppl to live inside chat threads in the left sidebar. the mobile app still works that way. then the new desktop app demotes chat to a customer support pop up, makes “work” the real product, leaks codex everywhere for normal ppl, breaks normal window behavior, & throws everyone into the deep end with no explanation? you took the most familiar ai product on earth & redesigned it around your org chart. remarkable.
