Okay look, I know my twitter name is a little confusing so let me clear things up. Most of you already know this but for the rest, my name is Karen, not Kara. Karatoona is something my mom called me. She probably meant it to be Karetuna, but I like my spelling better. ❤️

@kaydollbabe @Arbys it really is. There's not much I can do about it either, considering I ordered through uber eats. they gave me a $2 uber credit, but what I really wanted was the sauce that goes with the sandwich. Good thing I have my own bbq sauce. still, very annoying.

Dear @Arbys It seems your staff has a hard time remembering to put the sauce packet (the whole point of it) for the pulled pork sandwich in the bag. Twice this has happened as well as the last time it was released. If this remains an issue, maybe make it a pre-sauced sandwich.

Okay, this really sucks. Just found out Nicholas Brendon died. I knew he struggled through life, but this? My condolences to his family. R.I.P. Nicky. You'll be greatly missed. 💔😢

@Karatoona I’m still around, and as you can see, I still post from time to time…It’s not the same here as it used to be, and I really miss our fun interactions. But I’m also not planning to open an account on Bluesky anyway. It’s only twitter and IG for me.

Where have all the Lovelies gone? Even though I don't interact much, I still miss seeing them grace my feed on here.

@wiredoug This app has always had glitchy spells. I think we're all used to that aspect, but this? This is hot garbage that nobody asked for. But yes, we can only hope they fix things. I wonder if anyone in the tech dept at X said in a meeting "jesus, they're going to hate this."

@Karatoona its messenger with phone numbers. like telegram .. its big in europe i think?. I like Signal better. The new chat here is also notorious for not actually bothering to tell you theres a new msg - thats pretty special. no doubt these features will be ironed out in time. maybe?

@wiredoug I've never used whatsapp, so I have no clue what it's like. These app competitions are so tedious to me. I'm not a tech savvy person. I'm just a lady that likes to chat with her friends throughout the day via text, gifs, videos and voice notes.

@Karatoona hmmm .. i saw it as at attempt to use the very solid chat app base as a foundation to then add features to get it to a point where they can fork it as a standalone app in order to take on whatsapp? Has it gone well ? seems not . Is it bigger than what we see? yes i think so

@wiredoug Right!? As someone who works in retail, seems to me they're just doing this as a form of job security. We can't have corporate people just sitting around twiddling their thumbs now, can we? I'm part of a "legacy" group chat & it won't let us change the name like we do seasonally

I'm an android user. My App just updated to the new X chat system and I absolutely hate it. No gifs No voice notes No fun This is bullshit. Fix it or put it back. Literally nobody asked for this shit.
