A friend of mine flew from Dubai to Australia a few days ago on Emirates and according to him the aircraft was accompanied by a fighter jet (he didn’t know from which country) so the jet could hopefully shoot down any missiles coming for the plane. No idea if this is true but that’s a first-person report from a person I know and trust. Anyone else heard anything like this?
