@officialgtfc Gutted to see Svanthorsson leave after how good he was in the first year , I would of give JSB an extra year considering our striker situation but good look to the rest #gtfc
@3QPeteRose 😂
I have heard a young midfielder from Boston, so would tie in for Maguire.
Khouri to Walsall
Cook has had interest from 2 other clubs, 1 being Rotherham.
🤷🏻 and so it starts
@irishmariner88 Football game management has changed.
There are now 'starters' and 'finishers' to a game, that works with the game plan.
Im sure DA explains that to all the players and they know their worth at the club. Its far more tactical than just 442 nowadays, even at League 2. UTM
Genuinely, if I was kabia, after the season I’ve had and the interests in me, I’d take being stuck on the bench as a kick in the teeth and I wouldn’t think twice of leaving. Different game when he came on. 🤷🏻♂️ but wtf do we know #GTFC
@jaseharvey2 I am invested in DA as I think he is the sort of manager we need and want.
But he has is limitations like any manager.
The way the owners stuck with him before Xmas shows him what type of club we are and what owners we have.
Want him to stay, but everyone is replaceable UTM.
Interesting summer ahead for DA. Will he see next season as “unfinished business” after this season or “I’ve taken #GTFC as far as I can” and fancies a new challenge. Fully expecting an enquiry or two from Rotherham to try and entice him back “home”
@MickHarrison85@HertsGTFC@ledwidgejack1 Cook had a poor game tonight, he was trying too hard, if thats a thing. Snatching at opportunities and not linking up well.
Has been much better in previous games, maybe a couple of games too much after a long injury lay off.
@MattBarker91 His positioning and distribution is poor at tomes, but he is still learning and developing.
If not for injuries to Tharme and Lavelle, he wouldnt have been starting as many games at this point in his Town career.
@MadisonRow81095@ffscurt Thats just as unbelievable.
Genuine fans dont mind losing when the other team is better. What we all hate to see is horrendous decsions like those, it just spoils the game.
@DN35GTFC They had us figured out 1st half, roughed us up and we struggled.
We countered that well 2nd half and they didnt like it as much. We just didnt create enough and they were more than happy to sit back on their lead.
An early Town goal on Friday will liven it up!
Not sure the squad did themselves justice today. Felt a little like we were more worried about going to Salford 3-1 down rather than at 2-2. All for playing the percentages if it works but need to be so much better to get that 2 goal lead to win on Friday.

@FBLowdown According to Artell, the ref told him at half time, that it was a decision for VAR 🤦😔
Dont need VAR to tell you that was offside, just speak to your linesman.
@mlond1985 Are we are going to segregate the bit behind the goal in the Osmond?
That gives Town the corner at around 600 plus around another 200 behind the goal as that holds just under 1200🤷🏻
But if they bring less than 600 swap them to the corner last minute.
@COYRCOYRCOYR Kacurri has only been here since Jan. Needs a season at least to show his worth. Prone to a positional slip up, but expect that will come with time and experience. Come back in another 12 months or so.
Kabia, he has shown he can do it for 12 months, but still new to the EFL.
If Grimsby stay down, we should be absolutely raiding them this summer.
Jackson Smith is straight back in the starting XI
Jaze Kabia is a cracking talent in his breakout season and Maldini Kacurri is one of the best CBs in the league at 20y/o - both contracts expire in 2027 👀
Chatting w/Andrew today about last 5 yrs from Morais/Payne ‘headbutt’ at Bradford to the performance today we’ve come a long way together as a club & community. Thx to all involved, everyone’s played their part & the whole town shd be proud. Now let’s get this done. #ataw#gtfc
@thebeeskneez86@Youngy316 That will be the telling point.
Is Woodman a good manager, can he change the style to suit the division?
Or has he just fallen lucky in League 2 this season?
@AEcelson@3QPeteRose Thats why I said backed up, I've thought it for some time.
Chesterfield got play offs last season and are likely to be there again. They have built season on season with that quality addition in the right area. Feel we need another few signings
@KarlDrewery@3QPeteRose I agree Chesterfield were much better last night. But I don't think you can generalise like this from one game. Prior to the match a lot of their supporters were moaning about how bad they have been lately. If Town had been near their best outcome could well have been different.
@Hilly4141 No chance we win at Cambridge. We have become so easy to play through. Oldham, Harrogate and now today. Just get scythed open at will. Big problem.
@mattdannatt Been saying for a while we are 1/2 players off promotion. Not a criticism as such, just the stage of development we are at.
It showed last night, that Chesterfield had 2/3 players who were a cut above us.
Still happy with the progression, just disappointed UTM
It is what it is and it’ll be what it’ll be.
I’ve often wondered if we’re another summer window from genuine promotion contenders and I feel we are.
Still, hope we give it a good crack while it’s mathematically possible and see.
