The only home I’ve ever photographed that had a wooden water tower on the property. I’m curious if other photographers have ever seen one? It almost blends in with the tree behind it, so look close and zoom in. Yadkin County, NC📍

New Ballroom Addition to the Whitehouse is HORRIBLE! Shame on the architects, shame on the president, and shame on the people of the USA for letting their “house” get such a bad addition. “……But, it’s being privately funded” is the excuse most people give. Or, “I don’t care what they build”. Are these the same people that have pride in their country? I think they are. I am an US citizen, and I am calling this out as ………….lame as can be. I’m not even going to use “architecture words” I paid for in college, for this project does not deserve them. I’m going to make up a new word……”FUGLY”. I put the two best words to describe this building together into one word.

Mexico - Cholula - Puebla on Palm Sunday ….. then on to …………………………………Oaxaca City. For me, these two images capture a feeling of a place that one can only “feel” when they come for a visit. After a week here in Puebla, I highly recommend everyone come for a visit. It is truly a wondrous place filled to the brim with life. The people, the food, the architecture, the weather……there is a reason people settled here and made things beautiful. Oaxaca City next……on the road again. Anyone have any advice for me in the great state of Oaxaca? ….and they still drive VW Bugs……Viva!!!!!! Mexico Rocks!!!!!

It was a lament, not an argument. Projects like this charming beauty are harder to build now because of the costs of fees/permits, building and planning code restrictions, etc. And yes, I am aware that people will pay for greater quality, and especially, luxury. Case in point? The Birkin Bag-always in style, always desirable...

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports. My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer. After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year. This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.
