The future won't be divided into people who use AI and people who don't. That's a temporary catchphrase. Everybody will use AI. The real divide will be between people who let the machine flatten their identity, and people who use it to amplify what was uniquely theirs.

@ayojoestar Yeah. ❤️ On last-day detention they had us bad kids throw all of the books collected for recycling into the trash truck with the trash. This was 1996. Aluminum and glass make sense.

I recently found out recycling ♻️ was created not to help the planet but as an incentive to get people to use more plastic. I think they said it’s less than 13% of what we recycle actually is recycled. The rest CAN’T be due to whatever the plastic was used for. WTF 🤬

@FranziaMom I do it. At restaurants. 1) my dick hands are cleaner than your hands 2) I don't like checking my phone at the table, so multitask. ❤️

Found a voicemail on my phone from 2019 that I never opened. Showed up in my recovered files after I did a backup restore last week. Unknown number. Forty-three seconds long. Hit play. Old man's voice. Shaky but clear. "This is Harold Busby. I'm trying to reach my grandson Terrence. I think I may have the wrong number. I'm sorry to bother you. I just wanted to tell him that I finished the birdhouse we started last summer and it has a cardinal living in it now and I thought he'd want to know. He loves cardinals. Always has since he was small. Anyway. If this isn't Terrence, I'm sorry for the trouble. I hope you're having a nice day. Goodbye." Forty-three seconds. Then silence. I listened to it twice. Tried calling the number back. Disconnected. Googled Harold Busby. Too common a name. Forty results, none that helped narrow it down. Tried searching with the area code. Small town in rural Kentucky. Found an obituary from November 2021. Harold Busby, 84. Survived by two children, four grandchildren, including Terrence Busby of Lexington. I sat there for a while with that. He'd called the wrong number. Terrence never knew about the cardinal. I found a Terrence Busby in Lexington on LinkedIn. Same age, right location. Sent a message explaining what I'd found. Wasn't sure he'd respond. He did. Same day. He said his grandfather always got numbers wrong. Said he'd driven three towns over once to apologize to a woman named Eunice who he'd accidentally hung up on in 1987. He asked if I could send the voicemail. I did. He replied an hour later with one line. "That's him completely." Then another message after a while. "We did build that birdhouse. I forgot about it. He never told me it worked." I didn't know what to say to that. So I just said I was glad the message found its way eventually. He said Harold would have loved that it took five years and a backup restore to get there. Said it sounded exactly like his grandfather's timing.

Still very early but making progress on our in-browser bending simulator. Our website already catches the obvious DFM issues. This catches the nuanced ones.
