@mctait Sounds like a solid hire. Wish they would have given Kaitlin Nielsen (associate head coach) the opportunity. Hope they don’t lose her - her and her family (husband is head VB coach at Baker) are unbelievable people and such a great addition to the Lawrence and surrounding area!

Here's a look at new #KUvball coach Matt Ulmer's 7-year run as the head coach at Oregon. Appears to be another really good hire by Goff and it looks like Ulmer is right around 40 years old.

@BHanni Happy Birthday Tom🎂 Had some great road trips/bus rides sitting by Tom and listening to stories during the late 80’s when playing for KU baseball and Tom was doing radio! #legend #RCJH

This legend is 90 years young today and still the best storyteller I know. Happiest of Birthday wishes to the former Voice of the Jayhawks, Chiefs, Huskers and Reds. Tom Hedrick literally wrote the book on Sportscasting and helped countless students including the great Kevin Harlan make it in this industry. We love you, Tom! You had a Hall of Fame career on-air, but your legacy of inspiring future sportscasters might just be the greatest feather in your cap. We celebrate you today but are grateful for you every day. 🙌🎙️❤️

@TJHannam10 My son is a lefty swing and right hand thrower (right hand dominant) and his right hand would tighten up and take over and spin him out of the zone. We worked on it and in college he loosened the bottom/right hand with a couple fingers really loose and not even gripping the bat.

@VP_Houser Completely agree - every metric/stats there is show Kira Baker should be pitcher of the year - not even close! Post Season awards are political and subjective - some coaches will lobby for their players a lot more and sometimes their seniority as a coach carries too much weight

Congrats! But please tell me how the 5-time National Pitcher of the Week isn’t the Pitcher of the Year?!? Voters embarrassed themselves on that one!
