It’s not even about 50/50. People need to learn about reciprocity. I really think this was just a test and she failed with flying colors. People want to receive but don’t wanna give. Just because someone wants to be the leader, breadwinner, head of household etc. doesn’t mean that person doesn’t appreciate a little gesture every now and then. It’s selfish as hell to want someone to pour into you, provide for you, and take care of you, but you aren’t at the very least willing to reciprocate ANY of that shit. This wasn’t a sign of his weakness, it’s a sign of hers.
