I got the customs fraud call today. Automated voice said this was an emergency call about a problem with my package and I should press 9 to connect with customs office. I pressed 9(probably should not have done that) and connected with a guy who introduced himself as Sanjay Singh from Lucknow customs office and asked how he could help. I said I got this call about a parcel. Asked my name and I gave a fake name. Then pretended to search my name in a database (keyboard sounds) and asked if I was outside in traffic because of the noise (which was actually on their side). Eventually said that my package containing 20 passports and mdma had been caught in Lucknow on its way to Myanmar. They were calling to check before taking this to court. Then I laughed and cut the call.
