Mexico and Colombia blocked US military flights carrying handcuffed migrants, with Colombia sending its own aircraft to bring deportees without "inhumane treatment." But India not only accepted a US military flight with handcuffed deportees but boasted that "cooperation between India and the US is strong and effective" in countering illegal migration. While accepting US military deportations, India should have insisted the deportees be treated humanely without their hands and ankles shackled like criminals.

🚨 BREAKING: USAID Senior Officials put on Leave after Physically Trying to stop DOGE from accessing Agency Systems Two USAID officials, John Voorhees and his deputy, were put on leave late Saturday night after refusing to allow DOGE members access to USAID systems. The DOGE members threatened to physically call the police after being refused entry. They were trying to access the security and personnel files. Federal Officials are concerned that Trump is trying to fold USAID into the US State Department in an effort to cut Government corruption and bloat. USAID employs approx. 10,000 people, excluding contractors, with 2/3 of them overseas. 60 USAID members were already put on leave last week after trying to circumvent President Trump’s executive order on stopping foreign aid.

@nsitharaman ma’am, even the US does not tax its soldiers on income earned during combat tenure. How can we, under the new regime, tax allowances earned in counter-insurgency areas? This will significantly lower the morale of our soldiers. I kindly request you to revoke this policy. I have also submitted a representation, but it remains unheard so far. @FinMinIndia should revoke this policy to show respect for our soldiers, in line with other armies around the world. Additionally, armies of Pakistan and Israel also exempt income earned in combat zones from taxation. I urge you to take the necessary steps to make field allowances tax-exempt. I hope since serving soldiers can’t raise this, our veterans raise it at all platform so that it also reached @narendramodi ji It also impacts @crpfindia @BSF_India as sec 10 exemption are totally abolished under new regime.
